The main thing for tinkering is you're just building a library of the good stats you want to keep. So if you ever get a piece of gear with a maxxed stat (not a named piece) and you wanna transfer that stat to another, you can add it to the tinkering library to save it

And then once its saved, you can transfer it to other pieces of the same gear type for a few resources

When saving the stat, it will deconstruct the original piece of gear though so keep that in mind. same with saving talents

I just tested the exotic backpack Hive efficiency, and I think it only applies to the reviver hive, the problem is the way the description was written bcs it makes you understand that it applies to all hives, which is not the case. If you compare an improved backpack with the exotic backpack the damage of the stinger doesn't change.

But then boosting that rate or w/e is usually a waste of time. If you are making dps with a shield, at best you run tier 2-3 and everything else for dps itself. For tanking (which is only useful on 3 raid bosses) shield is mostly just a tool to proc vanguard and such.

Go to the kiosk SW from murican history museum. Fastest point to check.

If he's not there, you can mm for freemode exploration, join other plaeyrs and check their map. If it's not there again, exit back to your map again and check there. Rinse and repeat. Also if other player has vendors revealed, you won't even need to look for snitch any more.

At some point, if you are looking for specific gear, you can set targeted loot in either Summit or Countdown. That's where everyone does runs to get the loot they want.

heroic countdown is just all about DPS. you got enough damage, it gets easier.

that being said, assuming the heroic countdown host isn't being a complete idiot, there's a bug that makes you show your previous build when people inspect you rather than the current build if you just recently swapped it. so to maximize your chances, put on your best striker stuff, fully optimized and correct stats

do it before you matchmake

practically you only do heroic for extra currency to buy exo caches. everything else is probably gonna make you optimize anyway
