Yeah my problem is i like tactical cover shooting in the game with forms of small progression and RNG, i like having replenishing gadgets and stuff. I like having random rolls on weapons. I don't like powercreep. I refuse to play the endgame where its all defense builds and bullet sponge enemies where you dump 6 mags into one enemy to kill it. I purposely play with max damage build and glass cannon so that both me and the enemies are more squishy. Sniping becomes extremely fun. So really there wasnt anything left for me to do in the game except grind watch levels. After playing the game for around 4 years consistently, i stopped logging in because nothing new to the game was very appealing, like seasons and raids. Every time i did log in and tried to matchmake SOS calls, i would wait hours before one shows up for me to take. Thats why i said it felt like a very very dead game as opposed to something like overwatch where 9 other people are ready to play with you in less than 2 minutes.

I think this stems from "Optimal Range" being a confusingly worded stat if you don't know what it means.
tl;dr for those curious: Optimal Range just means how far away an enemy can be, that you can still do the full damage of the weapon to them.

Named SMG Safety Distance in combination with Virtuoso is actually kinda fun to play with. It can pretty much maintain the buffs all by itself after your fist kill of each fight 😊

I know Ninja Backpack is a no-no word around here. But for my set-up I use Ninja Backpack, 3 parts Virtuoso (including chest), 2 parts Legatus S.p.A.. It seems to work really well 🙂

Access to the Master Mission, and a chance to complete this Season's Comms without having to farm the final mission about 30 times.

To get every single Comm, you need to complete all Scouts, the Master mission, then 1 more Boss kill in a 2nd Master mission run.
(any difficulty will be fine).

For vets, I regularly see 15k-25k.
You can use shd level ÷ timeplayed to get a rough estimate of their shd/hr . It's not perfect, but if you see something like 1500/hr it's a safe assumption it may not be legit.

Just to get an idea, one of the better xp farms was floor10 and you could pull ~ 60-70shd/hr . The kill xp stuff at kenly/whiteoak/pentco were somewhere close but I think a bit less. All those I feel were fairly legit , but did kinda manipulate the mechanics. Most were nerfed afaik

I got an idea for a gearset! What if they had a gearset that basically made you invisible to whatever faction you were dressed like.... and it allowed you to take on small open world skirmishes and missions differently.... you didn't draw aggro as much and you could attack via stealth... you could set boobie traps on enemies weak points, their path of travel and even turn them against one another with a modified "crossfire decoy" that when placed amongst a group of enemies can be deployed causing them to fire at it and hit their squad mates that are on the other side of the hologram.... of course this would be a primarily PvE gearset the way yaahl gear is pushed as PvP centric.....

Hmm depends what you're after -- killing the hunters definitely give you the best chance at random named items but with the ability to apply numerous directives in heroic or legendary summit increases the chances of a target loot item dropping with a normal piece of gear. They both offer optimal ways to obtain gear. Both get boring quite quick though, for me I need a good music playlist to bust through the depression that is the windowless elevator to heaven.

Try them all out. Revive hive is useful if you're dying a lot. Assault turret is useful for secondary damage, striker drone is good for that too, and also distracts enemies

Close the launcher (don't exit). For some reason it still takes up a fair bit of resources to idle

Ending the Task via Task Manager will solve that problem, although the issue can crop up again.
It's done that for years though, I just assume it's a bug with the game's interaction with Ubi-Connect.

make sure to utilize the gear you dont need .

  • mark all unwanted gear/weapons as junk > goto library (inventory,tinker,library) and pull high attribute rolls that you dont have > in same tinker menu, goto expertise and donate all junk > whatever is left break down into mats. this will help you fill library and gain proficiency in an efficient way.

  • mark all gear you want to save as favorite, including stuff in the stash. when working on your library its easy to accidently pull rolls off an item you plan on keeping. library wont even show favorited items.

these allow you to upgrade specific items with a 1% bonus to stats per expertise level

it's most useful for guns as gear is upgraded based on their "base" armor level which is basically nonexistent at endgame - you won't see any real benefit at all without a ridiculous amount of investment

it's alright if you manage your expectations - you're not going to get basically any exotic other than the Pestilence and Ninjabike kneepads, and the regular gear also will have awful rolls 95% of the time

it's an infinite progression system to replace the 1-40 leveling once you get there

up to 1000 it provides some minor permanent stat bonuses that optimize your build, up to 2000 it provides some health bonuses that one bullet wipes out anyway
