hey guys how does centurions scabbard work? do i swap weps > wait 12 secs > swap again, and always have to be counting? or do i swap weapons twice straight away for both buffs?

From my testing, it seems you can get both buffs on the same weapon if you get the mag size one first, then swap to pistol and back to weapon to get the damage& speed buff. But yes, you have to repeat this every 12 seconds. There's an icon below your armour bar that shows it when it's active.
It's a powerful exotic but fiddly to get the most out of

From what I've heard it won't drop from target loot until you've first received one from exotic cache or similar, so farm countdown or global event to buy caches, or try priority objectives, but don't worry about target loot.

@sage siren Most of the mag mods are available within the Control Point (CP) pool.
So capture a CP on Lvl 3 or 4 (either one), (3 = Challenging , 4= Heroic) and you're guaranteed to get 1 thing that you don't have yet once it's taken fully.

The CP ones are the "meta" ones for sure.
The general idea for modding guns is: +20 mag size, all the rest on crit, or whatever stat you need if you're going for HSD (headshot damage).

Does anyone farm second pieces of gear or weapons for another character? It seemed like a good idea to me until I thought about expertise. Even if I only +15 a weapon it's not worth doing say 2x dark winters or ouroboros. Shall I just choose weapons for each of them?

You don’t need expertise for the majority of content, but for your important weapons it’s not too hard to get them expertised

DZ used to be a total free for all before the devs silently implemented SHD brackets. Now, considering you and I are on the same platform, only lvl 1k's group up with level 1k's and above. Meaning if you're 1k+, you're grouped with the no-life population of pvp (includes me). If you're below SHD 750, it'll tier you every 250-500 levels I think. Pretty tame part of the games population. Depending on your watch level depends on how "sweaty" the dz will be

Named Item Caches OR vendors. If you want an easy pvp experience in dz, just throw on 4 PC striker, ceska chest with unbreakable, memento backpack. Skills use decoy and defender drone. Any specialization works. Alternatively you can use hunters fury

I recommend DZ south landmark farming right now. Emperor's guard has a higher chance to drop since Murakami is TL. Plus it's the smallest DZ. Come build ready and be aware

Oh for that one you just level up normally as you play.

For each level up after your level 40 by playing the game getting XP. You get 1 SHD Level each time.

I believe the cap is 1000 SHD Level to unlock 50/50 for all the nodes for each category.

you originally probably didnt have that roll at all and it showed all available. once you get a roll into the library, it will only show items that have higher than current saved attribute

once you get a bunch of stuff in there it doesnt need a lot of attention. the initial filling of library can get a bit overwhelming, but short lived

That's not really how Exotics work in this game.
Open World drops are just RNG, you can have good luck or bad. You can buff your chances with increased difficulty and (more importantly) Targeted Loot+Directives.

on mmr , 100% stability is no scope sway. my hotshot build has high stability and uses elmo as a backup, and the elmo is even more of a laser than on regular dps. elmo can beam heads real easy that way.
you generally wont get a lot of either on dps builds tho. priority on dps is crit, and the talents that offer any will kill your damage output

Yup. We usually refer to him as the "loot goblin"

He is not super rare. But he is also not common

He will most of the time carry 1 or 2 event items (named items). During events that include named items, he will have a high chance of dropping that specific item. And once you have looted one during the event, it will become a part of his loot list, with a chance to drop additional copies of the item even after the end of the event.

It does however need to be said, that unique named items, such as the Lexington, will not be added to his loot list.

2. Depends on what you're playing. For example, you want as much DMG as you can, you go all Red. You want DMG but a little survivability, 3/3 Striker's. You want full survivability, Heartbreaker.

Yeah, I haven't been able to launch the game since the update. The EAC/D2 splash screen flashes for a second, then dumps back to Ubisoft Connect.
