Make sure you're on the right mission type when changing the difficulty.
You can change difficulty and depending on the mission the different type it is too.

The only reason I can imagine that it's greyed out is because you cant request a call for backup whilst matchmaking is active, they have it disabled for some reason or there's a bug.

Head to the social tab and change group privacy to open and make sure matchmaking is off then try calling for backup

It will be set In Brooklyn but there's no confirmation as to how big or where specifically they'll chose. I highly doubt it'll be the same scale as division 1 but you can expect it to be around the same as the war Lords map.

They've more or less shelved it at this point which means they're not actively developing it any further. They stated on twitch streams that they had looked into it but ultimately found the prototype ideas they had weren't working on paper -- to me this just sounds like dev jargon to say they struggled to understand the ins and outs of the system because as far as I can remember, in 2021 they had to call upon past dev team members who moved on from both the title and company to figure out how certain systems worked - it's likely a side affect of this.

For context -- when the Picaros holster was released it came with a skill tier, it was requested during the PTS to have it come with a weapon core, they went away and came back with the compromise of armour core as standard citing "the mathematics of our game would prevent a weapon core and fixed weapon damage attribute to be applied at the same time" thus is the reason why we can only apply skill tier or armour to it.

I can't see it being completely changed at this point, if anything they should just do a pass through on making them viable damage wise - their power in the Hollywood event just goes to show that if they just had a little bit more oomph then we'd be in the money. I think the main concern is the skill tree which has multiple different knock on affects to builds based on which one is active.

One of the main requests is to allow for quick swapping of the spec weapon from the inventory rather than returning to the white house. Additionally, removing the spec weapon requirement from specific skills (artificer, mortar etc)

If they can figure those out then I don't see any reason for the system to be revamped entirely.

The can spawn all over if your world is on challenging or heroic. I assume you're doing a priority objective? If so, I'd re roll and see if you can get something better. They're very scarce compared to non elite variants

There's also the one where it's a Hostage Rescue mission which is denoted by green handcuffs and generally only spawn when you have control points in your possession - that one is also not worth doing if you see it come thru as an objective.

It just seems to do that sometimes. One possible cause is first logging in on a hardcore character, then swapping to a softcore one that's >1000 levels higher. I'd suggest submitting a ticket with your account details to ubi support, might possibly help them troubleshoot why it happens to some players.

It's debatable, named caches are less easy to come by generally but the pool of items is much bigger so it could take forever to get that item. I'd say go for Catharsis first, then switch.

"exotics drop from a Prof Cache" is 100% a glitch. Unless it was patched in as an incredibly low chance, but I have no idea why it would be. It's not like loot is hard to come by these days, with Countdown making a mockery of the old farming methods.

The "bonus item" is just a random extra item, the term "bonus" is a little misleading, as like most games, it's pre-determined as you open the cache.

Also if you hit countdown it will shut off the global event. Sometimes it also gets shut off when you answer a backup call since your ge or modifiers are set however the session owner is set

it will only be the invaded versions that give parts anyways.
pro tip: save yourself the hassle atm. keep an eye on grand washington hotel for it to become invaded by black tusk. at that point get your adrestia named mmr from tidal basin and decon for the first part. reinvade the invaded stronghold and get whatever piece drops there, then goto grand washington hotel and reinvade to get the blueprint. after that point you can just farm the nemesis from mmr target loot. blueprint adds it to the loot pool.

reinvade - setting mission back to invaded status after completing. mission options > hold G changes mission from regular to invaded, or manhunt.

if youve already got 2 parts , youll just need gwh invaded for the blueprint
