Matchmaking itself is kinda "whatever". The trick is to "call for backup" when you are within that activity.
Assuming you are talking about general missions/LZ/bounties.

Also make sure you have the Global Event active.

I haven't played TD2 since 2020 christmas. I played through it and did not touch it until 4ish nights ago and I just completed all the game and DLC in that time

If you are looking for a specific open world (LZ) named enemy, you don't need them to farm Exotics anymore.
Just use Targeted Loot, all of them are unlocked from the bosses.

Skill damage on a fire chem would be the initial explosion but would not affect the burn duration or burn damage. That is dictated by status effects. Skill dmg does increase oxy chem damage though

usually in burn builds you also run vile, and vile doesn't scale off skill damage but it does off status effects, so that's why it's even more favored, but even still, burn ticks from chem do scale off skill damage

Correct. Apologies I misspoke. Yes the fire damage tick does increase with both skill damage and status. What I meant to say was burn duration is increased by status and not by skill dmg alone.

It's been a live service game since the start, but to massives credit they have been absolutely fair with micro transactions dating back to the first game. Division isn't overly monotized like so many other games, which imo is great and a large reason I even play it, but that does come with the downside of fewer updates.

Is there a way to full disable rumble in td2? The in-game setting does not appear to work for my PS5 controller. I don't see any official mention of haptic feedback but something like that appears to be happening to me and I want to turn it off because of it way too pronounced. Precise movement is very difficult as the controller want to oscillation continuously and nearly out of my hands.

If this is a known issue with PS5 controllers or there is some unoffical mitigation for this please let me know if you know anything.

Are you sure it's turned off? Maybe turn it on and then off again on the game settings? If that doesn't work, you can always just go to the controller setting and turn vibration off there aswell

Tried the in-game setting multiple times. Controller setting in windows? Didn't know I could do that. Trying my 8bit-Do now but I will try that next if the problem doesn't go away.

The in-game setting doesn't turn it off. It's driving me a little nuts. Normally it's no big deal but it is shaking the controller out of my hands!

To get expertise on my system corruption gear, I just enabled the global event and ran 6 directives summit on heroic. Not even 10 floors later and I'm now proficient lol

Honestly if sys corr wasn't a pvp based gear set and it was 3 armor 3 reds, it's a pretty viable set to run. Sadly, the comfort zone with sys corr builds is typically 4-5 blues and 1 red, maybe 2. GB carried my ass heavily, and Ouroboros saved my life too many times

You're right. Returning to TD2 where I originally played exclusively on Playstation. Game is still fun and I enjoy the grind but I'm still trying to figure out some of the PC quirks. I didn't know there was a separate controller setting section in the main settings on Steam. There I can now see that you can enable steam input and turn off the vibration. I'll do that just for TD2. I generally like rumble so I hope this gets fixed in the future.

To be fair if you pretty decent SHD level then doing a new character is really good for mats, definitely fastest way to get them

He didn't mean delete your main agent. Imo if you're SHD1250+ then what you do is, create a character. Boost to 30, run warlords with a skill build and have your skills expertise up. It took me 5 hours solo to get to 40. Soon as you're 40. You spend all your SHD points on materials you need, buy the blue print to share materials. Then delete that agent, and do it again. It just keeps stacking even past 9999

It's not good to overcap mats. Overcapping just means no more mats can be collected... kindof a waste if you cant collect. Also wastes the shd on something you dont need and can easily collect

I usually go the one checkpoint on the right side of the map, it's near a safehouse and a 2nd checkpoint. It's also like 3 minutes, the enemies spawn on left or right side of the main check point area. And if you wait till you clear the enemies out and head down to the flipped over car, theirs 2 manholes, the enemies spawn there, you can just air them out right on spawn, could also equip the flame wall fire spread build and clear them out that way

There's always a small pack of mobs to kill with pistol for ammo, and currently golden bullet, then rush in kill all mobs, run out front, call people, 1 tap all mobs till finish. Then wait 20 seconds for the guys to get there. Or call them first, and just run your ass put there. I find that the fastest way with GB

Is there a console command that can be used to turn off haptic feedback in TD2? At first I thought the issue was rumble but in fact it is the haptic feedback that starts out gentle and eventually ramps up so high my hands begin to ache. It takes real effort to keep my PS5 controller stable enough to move and aim in combat. Disabling rumble in the game, and in steam is probably working, but that is diffeernt from haptic feedback. There isn't an official setting for that. So maybe someone knows of a console command that can do it - or a console command that can be used to turn the feedback down.

If there is nothing at all like this where can I petition the developers to add settings to control this. It's crazy strong and every game session feels like a work-out.

Hotshot with determined. You can run bloodsucker as a talent on backpack so the stacking bonus armor keeps you alive if you are getting shredded. But just stay in cover take your shots. Sleeping giant takes 2 min or less to clear on heroic 5 directives if done right.

Yeah Exotics aren't mission specific anymore, you can just get them via TL (targteted loot). They're also not locked to named enemies/the DZ anymore either.
