so I think this is the entire issue, since this is the prelude to Power Plant, you don't technically have countdown unlocked until this is resolved, and since you don't start with that ability to do manhunts until you hit the required pass level, it won't show anything on the map entirely

It's important to note that in div2, below Challenging (hard, normal, story, etc) enemies can drop any tier of loot.
Challenging/Heroic, they can only drop gold/gearset/exotic pieces.

The jump from Hard > Challenging isn't that big of a leap, but Chall > Heroic can be quite a tough slog at first, but you'll get there with some practice.

Try focus on making a good endgame build, that's likely what is holding you back the most. That and just learning the tricks.

This was probably purchasing season levels skips, not the pass. It's kinda a shit practice on ubi part since it's a bit deceptive. Season pass is only 1k credits and will unlock all premium rewards up to your current season level.
Season level skips are 100 credits a piece so it appears you bought 2 level skips

i would maybe eyeball for max rolled items with rolls needed for the library. keep an eye on cd and clan vendors cause they can get some dz exclusive items randomly

you have a lot of weapon damage already, coming from red core attributes, your gun, your watch, etc.

you have less crit, so more crit is valuable, of course once you have enough crit weapon damage will be more valuable then you take that, but for now you are lacking in crit so crit has more value

Memento is in the general exotic loot pool. You are buying exotic caches at the countdown vendor too right?

You just keep playing either summit or countdown, keep your targeted loot to backpacks, and eventually it’ll pop up. You can also buy exotic caches to have a chance to get it too.

first question, try using a build with pfe. you can try blue striker variants with pfe, those are found to be quite comfortable. umbra although has self-healing kind of requires you to manage your damage and sustain stacks while it's more natural with striker, and striker has higher peak damage. that's what i feel personally though; you can still stick to umbra but i'd recommend using pfe mods as a first step.

as for gameplay tips: cover to cover is your friend. don't just sprint to reposition

Fastest way to increase it overall is to run Countdown, set "Targeted Loot" to something you aren't on Rank 10 with and donate everything that you can't use towards it.
It's fairly easy if you remember this order for what to do with loot:
Keep if good > Recal Library > Donate to Expertise > Junk > Sell.

a good Challenging Countdown run will net you north of 50 items, the bulk of which are Targeted Loot.

Exotic's drop rates are a lot lower than regulars, but every 2-3 Countdown runs you can afford to buy an Exotic Cache from the Countdown Vendor (laptop at the BoO, aka White House).

Nope, "Proficiency" just allows you to start to add Expertise Levels to an item, no bonus is given for Proficiency alone.

Try posting a picture of the 2 guns here and we'll see what's going on.

like, I've been using that AK-M for days now and nothing that drops has better damage, while theyu do have better RPM. I am just unsure if that damage is normalized or it's a dps or just straight up damage that I can compare directly or not

the "DMG" number is only one part of how much damage that weapon deals, the RPM matters as well. the game is balanced so that high "DMG" number (or high base damage) weapons will have lower RPM. if you want a rough estimation of how a weapon truly performs, multiply the "DMG" and "RPM" numbers together and compare that number.

as you will probably notice, AK-M is on the lower RPM side of assault rifles, so it has higher base damage to compensate

if you hyperfocus on the "DMG" number, you'll just gravitate towards marksman rifles, which loses the point of using an automatic weapon. so really, if you want to just get a feel for things, try out all the ARs you have and see which one gives you the most comfort

You might travel to the offsite missions and make sure they allow for more than story replay. Sometimes these missions will use your world difficulty and not actually complete because it wasnt story.

regulus project can benefit as you can get all the base materials needed for the projects in the same week with 2 agents. youll have to work the 2nd agent up as it isnt just wony, but youll want to have a functional spec as well. gear can be transferred in between so that isnt an issue.
having multiple agents also means duplicated scavenging points for each agent and multiple weekly projects

more storage, more chances at incursion/raid chests... yeah its worth

There's definitely builds that works from YT - often they're what the spreadsheet mentions, but sometimes people have been cooking. I like to see it in video format, as I can see the build being played.
I found an Iron Lung based build with Ongoing Directive and Memento for the Global Events and it's pretty fun once you get it going and learn it. Great for Heroic 5 directives.

I won't play it without a global event buff though, not enough dps to be worth without it imo

the recruiter bundle was there overlapping for a bit when the see no evil bundle came in, with both showing in featured.
the recruiter outfit disappeared later with one of the later patches, so likely just a f-up in delisting it too early.

but if you do it that way you will likely lose out on all the collectible comms except for the ones in the last mission. as that has also always been the case.

yeah, with all of the legacy manhunts, it is just the final mission that is available, so it only tells some of the story but is worth going trough once just to know atleast how each manhunt ended,
it can be done in a few hours on heroic, or even shorter if you just want to see it and play it on normal, hard or challenging difficulty.

If solo, decoy can help a lot (mantis is great for this since it basically gives you unlimited decoys) - enemies tend to just stand still while shooting at the decoy so they make easy targets. Of course, this doesn't help you learn their animations

I made that mistake the first reset and it didn't work. I would avoid talking to them and redo all their bounties/CPs and rescue them again. Then talk to them afterwards

Morning, my screen also looks like this. Monday I finished first Manhunt, but quit game before talking to her at Castle. Last night started the game and got the same screen as you. Even talking to the rescued person at the Castle, which I stumbled upon by accident as their was no marker, didn"t change anything. Still the same, tried logging out and even restarted game, nothing.
