I'd farm CP4 with as many directives as you can if I were you

Not at all - but since you're straight out of Keener with no build, you're gonna be quite weak - ie. on low difficulty - and farming specifically for an exotic will just take longer.

I can offer you to tag along while I farm like I offered Zalos - but you would have to be alright with being carried, as I'm running Heroic 5 Directives

Yeah - just be aware to get all the manhunt comms, you need to redo the manhunt mission a few times - because you only get to do the final mission.
Since you just did WONY, it would be akin to only going to kill Keener - and then having to do it over and over to get all the information from the rest of the manhunt.
Personally I watched videos for lore

depends on the manhunt, but more or less - as in how they worked. When you "do" legacy manhunts, you only play the final mission. Sadly we don't get to play the full manhunt

There's daily and weekly projects - aswell as "daily missions" (some missions have extra rewards on a specific difficulty, but never really saw much reason to do it).
The Black Tusk also invades once a week

Yeah, the weekly invaded missions gives a bit of extra loot - I mostly do them if I'm bored, but that's because I usually play with a bit more focus.

Rudolph may be thinking of the Legendary Missions, those give one special piece of Cosmetics the first time they're completed.

Every invaded mission gives you a named item - Tidal Basin gives two - as their reward on first completion each week. This is unique to the invaded missions.

The shield splinterer is not tradable or sharable.

No, no-one can give you the gun. Trading isnt a thing, not in the traditional sense. And even then, Shield Splinterer is a special case as theres only 2 ways of getting it- the ivory box which is unlocked by killing every hunter in the base game, or by buying it from a secret vendor (who will only show you the gun when you have opened the ivory box) and it cannot be traded.

No, you cannot. Whoever gave you that info is lying or uninformed. The gun is only from those two sources.

And both of those sources mark the gun as unshareable. So get to killing those hunters. Asking here gets you nowhere.

Shield Splinterer can actually be shared by a player who has completed the DC hunters and creates a new character that you carry through the NYC campaign; at the end of the campaign when you both return to DC, he can open the ivory box and share weapon; I've done it a few times with my clanmates as I'm still missing a key despite completing DC hunters

There is a lot of flexibility in how you build/what weapons you use.
You can easily test out lmg. I'll direct you to the build bible The Spreadsheet pinned in #td2-build-advice .
You'll find a ton of builds in the Hub (builds) tab. There is also a ton of info on gear/brand sets, weapons, talents.
Itll get you pointed in the right direction and working towards a solid setup.
Take advantage of loadouts as you build and you can save different builds you like for quickly swapping 🍻

Well check your chest. Electricity coming from deployed skills is exactly what that does.

Fair, with Anderson the biggest problem though is probably the fact that you have to sit at the terminals while a bunch of ads can airburst, drone or otherwise just annoy you and depending on where you are, you can't peak else your armor is just gone.

I've been running a lot of Countdown recently and one run last night was pretty nuts. Normally with Striker/Obliterate spun up i'm hitting for 800k to 950k per shot with my Elmo's. This run last night though there were times when team shooting where I was seeing over 2M per shot and things were melting. This is on Heroic.

Really curious how that happened, i'm assuming some sort of perk/talent someone else was running that synergized well.

gear tends to roll atributes that are the same color as the main core.
the only leveling they have after 40 is shd watch, and expertise to facilitate the power creep. no worries about gear being obsolete
at challenging+ you wont see anything but highend, gear sets, exotics.

one piece of advice - don't play a hardcore character until you know the game. If you want an easier time leveling get some yellow cores and get a striker drone as first skill. restorer hive if you just want to shoot is the other first skill when you don't want a drone.

Hardcore is always to each their own. If you're an "always hardcore" kinda gamer, you're used to resetting anyways.
Outside of that - I genuinely mean it. You need gametime.
If you're in basegame, most likely sub 15lvl, you don't need a guide - you need to learn by playing.

I have to play really slow and smart since I die like paper. tho tbh idk how much better my loot can get and my full dps glass cannon build still feels like I'm doing minimal damage in solo heroic. I managed to get used to it by calling for backup / matchmaking and no longer using my revive hive. Use skills that crowd control or give you time to kill like emp sticky on warhounds / mini tanks or demolisher firefly to take out grenadier backpacks when you can get their weakpoint

Took me about a month but eventually I wasn’t afraid to solo missions, I’d slap on the revive hive depending on the mission tho ie pentagon, some sections of DARPA, viewpoint, NOA

Is heroic countdown supposed to give us better rolled items?

The way difficulty works in div2 is that as you raise the difficulty, you get better "worse possible rolls", so your overall loot in Heroic will be better, yes.

Countdown is a special case though as Challenging actually gives you slightly better rolls than Challenging outside due to weird scaling, and Heroic is the same thing with it being somewhat better than Heroic normally.
so tl;dr do Challenging unless you have a team that can do it fast. The idea of Countdown is sheer volume, not quality.

That is indeed the main idea of Challenging over Heroic.
that and it's a heck of a lot easier, without requiring well crafted builds. You can pretty much slap on any semi-decent setup and contribute.

either way, Challenging will get you an average of about 40-50 pieces of loot per 15minutes(+extraction timer) run, a fair few of those being TL (targeted loot)

Countdown is easy mode loot farm, honestly. Just follow the leader, do the objectives, and avoid the VIP objective.

Its actually incredible how efficient it makes putting together a build.

If you don't have max rolls to to optimizing with you've run into 1 of 2 situations, first you are low level and shouldn't be concerned with optimizing or second you've neglected your recal library.

YELLOW builds = skill in some form
Going for a red will be the simplest to get into and will help you with the basic understanding + give you some power 'relatively' quick

You can only share loot if it was obtained whilst you were in the same group together, and only within an ingame timer.
Your best bet to obtain it is Targeted Loot: [backpack], chall or above, countdown+caches or Directives.

Just never go from ingame hud directly to the progress via holding the button

Always go through the menu, never froze for me like that, only if using the "shortcut"

It is yeah, the issue with Countdown is that due to the lack of Directives, Exotics can be kinda hard to find within.
So make sure that every 2-3 runs you are buying an Exotic Cache from the Countdown Vendor (laptop at the BoO, next to the Seasons people, near the vendor.

Let those points stack up. You wont be forced to use them and down the road you will run out of something and need the scavenging points.

Biggest bang for those points will be the shd calibrations .

Summit is fairly easy, not hard to get into.
Drone and emp rooms might be a little more difficult.
I feel like the difficulty is slightly less difficult than and open world/missions of the same difficulty.

Rock 15 floors on challenging, if it's a breeze you know you can bump up the difficulty or add a couple directives.

I'm super new, never play these types of games (football manager is my game) I tried the Summit on easy, got to lvl 20 as it was too easy, tried hard n got to lvl 12 it's definitely worth doing ( getting those summit key drops n exotic, green sets!!!)

summit you can customize the difficulty and the directives so it can be one of hte hardest things or easiest things, just fiddle around to reach your sweat spot

Running around with my HS HH build I noticed the GE doesn't "refill your ammo" like HS does or even Golden Bullet - it just puts ammo from your reserve into your magazine. And it does that before Hotshot 4pc triggers, so you're still gonna run out of bullets smh

Most striker builds use some sort of ACS-12 to get stacks near instantly, then swap to a ranged weapon. Depending on content and diff it doesn't matter tho. Also scorp is crazy strong, I'll use ACS/Scorp in pub incursion runs.

If you're talking about the loading screen countdown bug, on PC you can fairly reliably fix it by holding down the escape key.

went descent, loop 34, everything max out. melt tank on 0.2 sec. and server decided to have problem. seriously. dont you think it's time to have check point on descent? like if you want only skilled people to achieve higher loop, i have news. not many people will pass loop 10 or pass nemesis for that matter. server problem and crash it's not our fault, it's yours, i spent almost 9 hours to get that loop 34 and planning to climb more, but your server said no. plaayer die on descent and back to loop 1 , that's i understand, but crash and server problem and back to loop 1 while spent almost 9 hours that's some BS.
