being forced into the hole where grenaders are specifically programmed to nonstop fire the hole so you can't get out is a loss in my book

You can easily mess up that part if you get caught off guard by the combination of rusher and grenader spawns

The second spawn will have a bunch of veterans and elites, chief among them being an elite drone operator. Wipe her out and it should be smooth sailing from there.

Determined headhunter is an easy way of farming heroic +5 directives, not too difficult to get the pieces together and doesn't need to be anywhere near perfect rolls

Especially if you focus your farming on outcasts and bt, very few helmets to slow you down

Jefferson Trade center, it is a decent drop chance from the boss but your single chances vs targeted loot on mask is about the same when running countdown and you'll get more items and currency to spend on exotic caches.

If you are low level SHD run countdown and donate items you get while wearing a couple items and one skill you need to level up, if you are like 2-4k SHD I'd say run WONY and redeem salvage points for printer filament and donate that.

Oh expertise isn't a concern at your stage. Fill your library and then work on getting high rolled items and replacing items until you have max cores and can freely recal the attribute, avoiding optimization until later on for harder to farm for parts. Expertise kinda fills in as you go tho. I'm like 4.4k SHD and I'm only to 20 exptertise.

Painfully... The fastest way for lower level people is to just go open boxes on the map. Go donate to a CP so you get detection 2 and just go open boxes around and thru solar farm.

I can play missions/ legendary/ heroic control points/ legendary summit this build will allow you to play with all 5 directives active and all 10 directives active in the summit

Hunter build I use this for XP farming, invaded missions/ missions/ time trials events/ manhunts/ legendary missions with a few changes

But these two builds are tailored around my play style but I do have a lot more builds I use based on the team I'm matchmaking with but you will understand what type of builds work when you start playing the the builds

Always the highest/most directives will churn out the most exotics as they have a higher chance to drop and directives increases your targeted loot drop chances too. For Coyotes mask you can run Jefferson Trade mission for a single chance per run or 2 chances if mask are TL for that mission but that's once every 10ish minutes depending on your clear time or you can run countdown and get tons more loot, requisition you can spend on exotic caches, and many chances at other exotic mask. The overall benefit to countdown wins imo.

Find which missions or open world areas have the gearsets in question and play them until you get the basic setup you want

Countdown and The Summit allow you to choose your own targeted loot - Countdown drops a lot of loot, but if you're farming pieces for a first build I would recommend Summit or the open world for doing so at your own place.

If by "electric looking gun" you mean St. Elmo's Engine, target loot assault rifles

Increasing the difficulty increases the average attribute roll and indirectly increased drop chance through more enemies and elites

Directives also increase the chance of a targeted loot drop and additional XP, but they change up how some elements of the game work - I would recommend trying those out in The Summit before activating in the open world

Think of it like this: the mission gives you a single chance per run, Targeted Loot (TL) gives you a chance per each enemy.

not really, you may put a basic lvl 30 skill build in the stash, but once you goto ny youll get a new random set of gear... basically just upgrading as level progress from 31-40. after 40 and final mission youll start farming gear and gaining shd level (end game leveling).
can check out #td2-build-advice pins to see a spreadsheet for gear to farm after 40

I'd reccomend trying the summit to get a starter build out of the way, and then going into countdown. If your build is better, people wont kick you as often. That, or just running challenging countdown instead of heroic. People are usually more forgiving in challenging.

Striker's damage outpaces Heartbreaker, but Heartbreaker does have the survivability. Even then, Striker is more viable in harder activities.
