CP color doesn't matter. Activity at the required spot does not have to be broadcast, can be any of them. I had her pop on two entirely different ones with all green CPs. Staying out of the immediate area is relevant so the game can slide the encounter in at the proper time, but you only need to be as far away as the nearby CP.

You have several in game hours to account for so don't camp the spawn the entire time, just wander through it occasionally if you must check and can't wait for the big white question mark on your map to opop up.

IF you already have the jacket, either from an event last year or on another character, I don't think you can get it again and I'm not certain the event will pop for you.

But that's all the knowledge I've acquired through doing it myself.

The only complication I don't know about at this point is if you have ot have all the holiday events done on the same character to get the back pack.

Got a tip for you if you want to farm him for a bit.
Travel to DZ South, turn around so you're facing north, check the car park to your right. He'll normally spawn there (climbing out of one of the manholes), or be running up the road towards you. Shoot him, get loot, log out and back in. You can get a full drop every minute or so

I’m currently at 180 shd since I just started to pick up this game. I been doing countdown and sometimes heroic missions but it seems so slow for me. countdown on challenging with targeted loot is always better than mission farming

But the key thing is, along that route. It's not definitely going to be there every time, but that's the most common one

Yeah, a lot of people have taken guesses at what to do to make it work and almost all of them have been wrong.

It's RNG, there is no magic formula to make it happen. Just be there when it's there.

The only right way is the way that worked, which doesn't seem to be any specific thing.

The boss you want, Hatter, doesn't start in play but comes in a later wave.

So, starting at 21:00 and presuming you are working the right spot, keep clearing the encounters that pop up.

Do that until 6:00, rinse and repeat the next night until you hit it.

You can try map swapping to see if you get a new night earlier than normal, but that's about it.

The "helping other players" rank is called a "Shepard Rank", Commendation is completing little challenges and then claiming them.

I think I'm going to hold off on raising the proficiency of my Striker stuff. I'm getting the sneaking suspicion it's not going to be the DPS outlier after this health update (or at least not the only one). Long time coming, but hopefully other builds can have their time in the sun now

Proficiency is just using the item or donating excess copies, Expertise is when you modify the stats. I know, it's confusing.
Generally speaking, you can avoid adding Expertise to gear anyway, as it only adds more armour. Unlike guns which add more damage.

Maybe, not entirely sure I agree but for arguments' sake let's say you're right. There's no reason to use most of it though, and that reflects in usage in pretty much every activity. Striker after Striker, the odd basic red build, the odd Vanguard tank, if that lobby is feeling extra spicy there might be a riot foamer in there. Rarely seeing skill builds anymore (not just in Countdown for obvious reasons), even with Determined + HH I don't see snipers that much either
