Some tips that helped me reduce crashing:

• Play in windowed fullscreen
• Reduce power limit of gpu
• Cap framerate to something where gpu can chill under 90% load
  I have 90fps and capped to 60fps

I crash like 1 or maybe 2 times in a whole evening

Skills like turrent / drone are worth it with expertise since those are the most used
Only couple others are worth it ( can't remember right now ) since some only increase range or duration so they are just waste of resources

They sure help you out but you don't really need them if you are a decent player
You can get stuff done with the normal skills aswell

Yeah, but that's not really my issue. I only ever really run red builds. Skill builds on occasion if I'm feeling lazy. That's why I ask.
If I can just use my Red build and kill shit to get expertise and not have to waste resources, even better.

I don't want the pain of having to use skills I have zero experience running with or time to farm a build for.

So do I have to absolutely use the skill to gain proficiency or can I just demolish stuff with my M1A? lol

Yeah hhd only have around 160/MB read. Ssd are 500mb/read , nvme are like 3500-7000/mb read.

If your OS is on the same hdd as your game it divides that slower speed further since both have to operate
