Ridgeways Pride requires you first to collect 5 separate Exotic pieces that drop from the special Summit crates that spawn on a floor ending with 3, 6, and 9.
the key for the crate drops in the set of 3 floors leading up to it. The Keys do not stack.

Each part you need drops at a range, the first is 0120, which drops between floors 1 and 20, etc.

It's possible to miss the Key, but the Crate will 100% always be at the end, either by the elevator or in a large room once you've cleared the floor at 3/6/9.

The key always spawn though, and plays a sound when you're close. It glows with a pale yellow column of light above it, often in a corner somewhere.

from data miners we learned theres a 1% exotic chance drop, but thats any exotic. In IH the regulus and rav are added to that exotic pool, and in DH the EB is added to that pool. So your chance of getting a rav or regulus in IH is 1% divided by the total number of exotics in the game

I feel like with this latest delay the cracks are starting to show with having a brand new team take over a game that was originally supposed to be left for dead (very important).

Nowadays it feels like we can't go very far without some weird bug delaying things. And while the story had seen great developments it feels like the creativity of the gear (in terms of both function and flavor text) has suffered as a result.

Gee, back in the good 'ol days that's how they did it. And there wasn't any day 0 patches either. Devs had to get that right the first time. If it was too large of a bug, it required halting production of existing carts, push the new version of the software to the factories, and create new carts with the updated code. THAT cost real money. Nowadays, day 0 patches have become a crutch for development that has a lack for an actual QA process.

Summit, an endless upward dungeon with randomised elements and selectable Targeted Loot.
Countdown, an 8 player (2 starting teams of 4 each) running a kind of "mini raid" to save a powerplant, also selectable Targeted Loot.

Lots of Manhunts, there's now a total of 5 bosses, 4 give new skills.
Also new Gearsets, Brandsets, Exotics, Guns, etc.

Yep, div2 really doesn't have "timed additions", the only thing like that are the lead up to Manhunt bosses, but the main bosses themselves are always there.

The basic mats are considered raid loot, so you only get them on your first run of the week. So either you wait for Tuesday to get the mats, then get the regulus parts the following week, or you run on a separate character this week to get mats (which would be that character's first run of the week). That way you can share the mats to your first character, finish the projects this week (all projects on the first character, not the second), and get the regulus on Tuesday

tbh, i bought the game from cdkeys and hadnt had any issues as thats mostly my go to for games

its more that its a shady practice, some off the keys for instance are bought with stolen credit cards, so that the keys arent payed for once the cc company charges back, leaving the devs/publishers to take the cost,
and in some of the bigger cases, the game companies have blocked keys bought in that fashion. meaning the final customer was made to take the financial hit

also sites like g2a are horrible as they try to sell you insurance service for the key you buy as a upsell, that then end up as a monthly charge, that was (is?) horrendously hard to end the subscription for once you had it.

The delay is due to us not being able to work on the target for several weeks, due to a security update on a tool the engine uses.

I would suspect it derives from the spoken phrasing: in the US you're more likely to say November the fourteenth, in the UK we'd say the fourteenth of November (although we do use both phrases, the second is more common). I would guess the US approach is likely the old-fashioned one where the specifics of time were less important than they are in modern life. (In a number of other spelling or vocabulary differences between the US and UK, the US actually has the older usage.)

Your overall problem is that you probably don't have a coherent (if not necessarily optimized) endgame build yet. DZ NPCs are pretty hard without a proper build
