It isn’t. Last year they announced the first event while at Worlds and then the rest of the roadmap in late January I believe. So we are far away from seeing much about 2024.

I get that can be a bit discriminatory, but it's something that everyone at that level is subject to.

1. A tournament should never have been planned for that time, because they should have knoen that not enough teams would have their rosters finalized by that time.
2. Since they didn't anticipate that properly, the tournament should have been officially cancelled much earlier than they did. The communication to fans and the community was awful.

1 team is automatically the team that already qualified for Pools at Ft. Worth

the other team is the one that places highest in the Open Bracket

However, I can see you point - in the UNLIKELY event that an Open bracket team from MX makes it into Pools and outplaces the team that pre-qualified for Pools, that won't make a difference.

In the rules. The 1st seed for the playoff is always gonna be the team qualified for the Pool Play.
So lets say that 2 MX team from open bracket finishes before the team that was in pool play by points. Then it will still be the pool play team that would compete against the 1st among the other team

I'm counting matches, and it looks like they somehow are managing to show every pool play match without a D stream?

Yes I know - but even for SLC, we didn't finish Pool Play on Friday either.

and SLC needed 4 streams to show all the pool play matches.

In a way, this is a good thing, I think.
It means they're finding the ability to streamline their production to be able to show all pool matches with 3 streams instead of 4.
That's a cost savings, you have ot think.

OPen Bracket could be streamed but LVT halo at the end of the day (looks like there is only 2 streams at the end of the day)

They cut to 3 streams and 1 less "hour time" too (last game are at 6:00, while it usually at 7:30)

I guess we don't know what Saturday's schedule is yet.
It's definitely possible they'll choose to not broadcast those last Pool Play matches, but that would suck.

It's just the concept that BH3 Esport is going in as the '3rd' seed, but if you look at their points (and also their skill compared to everyone below them) they really aren't '3rd'

His wording of 'insane international seeding' is just his own choice of words and interpretation.

He's a coach for a team, and this isn't official.

The problem with points is that in Europe we can't attend to Major just like that (and so take points). We do have less seed for invitationnal and Major too.
And while i don't disagree on their skill (they should be below 14/16), it would be unfair to not take into account this. And a lower seeding mean higher seeding opponent too (wich is worse for international team coming a long way just to be beaten first or second match)
