True I just like 117 master chief that's why I would love having a skin of him with his weapon in a weapons pack. Code in a physical case that you could actually go out. I'm playing it to get better at halo and other games. I was good at csgo as a kid when it first came out. Then through the many years something happened. And I got bad at any games like halo that I had to shoot in. I have the movie forward unto dawn. I avoid it though becasue of silvia I end up crying. It hurts. I wish they would re release forward unto dawn in 4k blu ray digital. It last 100 years. I taught something. It took my little cousin my neighbors grown daughter his grandson to teach me how to play fortnite and get great at it. It took a village to teach me. Now I'm working on friends. the menu lists reach first but going from a more modern game to ce will throw you off

if you're interested in the story, there's no harm doing a playthrough on an easier difficulty! but if you're up for a challenge, you could jump straight into heroic or even legendary.

no skulls to begin with is a wise idea, they tend to change the base gameplay in ways that might feel unpredictable especially if you later go back to play without skulls, or play multiplayer (eg: "explosions happen faster and have a larger radius", or "you can only heal by punching").
there are "cosmetic" skulls too, which are largely some form of fun (such as "headshotting the little aliens creates a burst of confetti and a cheer sound effect", or "rarer, often funnier, lines of dialogue will play more frequently and common dialogue becomes rare")

100%, there are 4 difficulties. Easy, Normal, Heroic and Legendary. There are also skulls to add modifiers that make the game even harder. Like enemies throwing grenades more often, having more health, or having thier rank upgraded. LASO (legendary all skulls on) is one of the most challenging things in all of video games

Play through the games on normal first to get acquainted

Then heroic and legendary once you learn the mechanics

that's the issue BTB when any Halo game gets really low population, you just start running into farmers non-stop in the big modes.
until eventually the mode just dies or you're not even finding enough players to fill a lobby.
