playing halo 2 campaign co-op on Xbox is surprisingly unstable, disconnects every now and then, cloaking as player 2 with anniversary graphics on Xbox one has a random chance of freezing the game
getting a loading screen for the level we just beaten
random chance of crashing when joining a host that's on series x while player 2 is on Xbox one (happens every time with the mission "Quarantine")

although all of these are halo 2 campaign specific problems and I have no idea if these problems exist on pc

Yes in solo. I switched proton version, reinstalled, factory reset my deck, it happens random. Upon starting a mission either regular single player and spartan ops, during missions when I turn off my deck and on again - the game refuses to respond to any input but the touch screen, on Reach the mission Exodus right before the end the game just freezes completely and I cannot progress.

Edit* Now all of a sudden it works again. I really got no clue what is going on…

I’m not even a sweaty halo player but i still been getting matches where the enemy team is literally…. Let’s say bots and my team for some odd reason can’t keep up like I’m not trying to say I’m good at the game mint blitz style but it’s feels rather annoying to play the game now

Im not that sweaty either, but idk sometimes i get matched with players in my rank level (silver, gold, bronze). And then we get clipped by some onyx and hero players on the other team. I notice that when I have a fireteam with my friends we win a lot more, so it may js be communication for me, but it also doesn't excuse the matches against onyx players

Im not even that good either, on most matchmade games i get like 10 kills with 40-50% accuracy and still js can't win sometimes

it’s just that I’ve done 4 games on legendary solo by now, including Halo 3: ODST, which is the same engine as Halo 3, but I guess Halo 3 is just harder in general than ODST

I’m not afraid to go against onyx players (most cant even use weapons outside of precision weapons) but it’s just the fact i want teammates that can also go against players like that i dont believe having to carry 6 players and not even get 1 kill is fair in any sense of the imagination when im against against lore accurate blue team

Ngl. Earning spartan points in mcc is boring and slow

For pve players you can really only get 6 per week

Starting from scratch it'll take years to get everything

I think they really designed it to be paid eventually

However we threw a fit, got mcc booted and then we consume the infinite shop with no issue.
