in battlefiel you want to counter the vehicle. so you get the launcher class, and guess what? if ur using guided munitions the pilot can evade them with popping flares and then running for a few seconds. in halo it all really comes down to map presence. if you can get to the center of the map you can get a sniper or skewer then that aircraft is TOAST. little they can do except hope to dodge. overall my experience is the halo player has a better chance than the battlefield player because the deadlyness of infantry weapons vs vehicles

You need to make sure the whole beam connects with the Splaser for it to destroy vehicles. The Skewer doesn't have the same issue since it deals all its damage within its single projectile

It's very much a case of both weapons have very similar roles as long range vehicle killers but go about it in very different ways
