If you're playing Multiplayer or Firefight, you can play cross play without any issues. Campaign though, you're looking at Halo 3, Halo 3:ODST and maybe Reach, can't remember if that has crossplay or not.

It's talked about but there were song licensing issues and what not apparently that prevented it from being added to the EA Play/cloud gaming stuff.
It's still backwards compatible on Xbox but since the 360 marketplace is gone you can only get it if you owned it digitally in the past or if you can find a second had disc floating around (and have an xbox with a disc drive of course)

Halo Reach 2 plot :
It is post Halo 3. The ONI says that there are pirates covenant who are trying to kill the arbiter. Jun and Buck a duo working with Locke. The game will set in Reach and Sanghelios. They meet the new Covenant "Storm". We will see many cameos. Hood, Lasky, and it will end by the prologue of Halo 4 something like that.

Would be a cool prequel to Halo 4. Or maybe why not between Halo 4 and 5

They would meet Noble 6 still alive in a certain point.

Btw we really need a game that set up between Halo 4 and 5 so bad.

I'm actually on Team Energy Sword for this one. Even though 1 lightsaber is better than 1 energy sword, lightsabers are both extremely rare and take a long time to make (sourcing materials, restriction on most lightsabers to be made via Jedi training ritual). Meanwhile, energy swords are cranked out in weapons production to the point where any Special Forces equivalent can have them. So on a war scale, energy swords would make a tangible difference vs lightsabers.

Is there anything to get excited about in Halo Infinite anymore? I mean the Operations are getting less and less appealing, the rewards are ok at best but don’t always match the Operations theme, the Eagle Strike and Hazmat core don’t get any love from its devs, everything is either for the Mark VII, Mark V (B), Raksasha, and the Chimera, sometimes very rarely the Mirage IIC, and lastly the Yoroi. I miss the 343 that would come online to speak and show actual live streams of why we the halo community should get pumped for the next big Halo Infinite update, it hurts to see the halo community now refer to what could be exciting new content as oh boy here comes another shop update. I don’t know if anyone 343 is going to read this, but I just wanted to speak my actual thoughts on the current state of Halo Infinite.

yeah its a weapon combination, in infinite u can combine lots of weapons via scripting. assault rifle that shoots rockets. plasma pistol that shoots ravager rebound, machine gun turret that shoots sniper rounds etc stuff like that
