Of course, it doesn't always mean it's nonsensical when a character somehow ends up being "universal" or something based on who they fight or a certain feat.
It's just that it sometimes catches you "off-guard" when you actually GET the result of where the character stands... Just look at Dragon Ball scaling and that basically summarizes it.

I mean, there's still some pretty cool stuff coming to the game. If you ask me though, we're in the same stage with Infinite as we were with MCC a few years back. It'll still get some updates just don't expect anything big.

Ngl I feel like that's how 343 thought process is like with Master Chief and the Paramount TV show.......anyways short version Captain America but in space, otherwise I'd suggest watching HiddenXperia if you want more detail on what Master Chief is like in the book, since in game version it's mostly a blank character with a few one liners, for player to relate better to him, so its a bit different from the books.

But like others have said....if you got the time and patience or are more interested after the videoes, pick up the book for more content.

I only recall Carter kinda be cold hearted when he told Jun to potentially kill Halsey, and Emile.....is just Emile. Some of the quotes I'm double checking actually seems like Jun is less of the violent type like "I kill my enemy but do not hate them" or "Stay focus 6, we're not out here for blood"

Bruh halo infinite keeps kicking me out of a server at least once before I have to restart it. It usually gives me the "you have been disconnected from the local server" Even tho my internet is fine. I use ethernet too.

Ya I get that. It's generally why I dislike novel written about blank canvas characters as well. Since it's the author's verison or how they see them as oppose how you view the character. Which....is kinda why I don't like 343 or the novel version of chief. I prefer him to be the "strong and silent" type with a bunch of one liners. But I get that they need to expand his character somehow as well.

I'm hoping in the next halo game. If we're still facing the Banished, they change it up. So far from the campaign....it does seem like just fighting the covenant again but without the religious appeal. (Basically Alien Union set on destroy humans....again)
