But why did they go the PvP shooter route? Yeah, remake might sport some colors because apparently today everything has to be NERF or Nothin' and also have bi-week taunting and dancing, with teabag(and general fun)-dampening systems, but I don't see why they can't make a story-based recreation of the original games with the awesome smoothness and functionality of Destiny (the engine feels right even if the game/story sucks) with the storytelling of Marathon and enhanced models (and Halo tier damage). They would get so much money ;A;

no you have infinite grapple shot and you harpoon to to other players with melee damage scalar 200% and the distance at 10% so you can only kill people with harpooning, and you just have a sidekick out of ammo like kong slayer so you cant kill with a weapon
