I don't really view that as an issue that makes the writing bad. Defecient for the timeframe, too much to the timeframe, but that's something you solve by adding extra to the timeline. It's also not the first time; Public consciousness has erased much of the legwork that had to be done to connect various Halo elements, with book knowledge oozing into public knowledge once you get past the water's surface.

honestly 5 was just not good entirely, it pretty much was claiming to be a story about chief and whats gonna happen after 4 and then just throws us locke, and then cortana just pops up out of nowhere and now is evil after "dying" in 4, just to have a lack luster fight between chief and locke, and with infinite i liked because it wrapped up 5s story the best they could, and then showed a new enemy where even in halo wars 2 you could see atriox just dawg walks red team, and with infinite being out of the picture humanity is once again on the back foot by a lot, theyre getting hunted down on the ring, the created lost there leader but is still out there and now with the audio books that have released recently, the flood have infected a spartan and is just out there in the universe with a condor with a slips pace drive, like we are in for a real kicker

You see, Jul M' Dama was the big baddie introduced in Spartan Ops, so it was very disappointing to see him die at the beginning of Halo 5. I was convinced they would never repeat something like that.
IMAGINE MY SHOCK when Atriox, new big baddie introduced in Halo Wars 2, had a fakeout death at the beginning of Infinite...

And he doesn't come back until the optional Legendary ending, so functionally yeah, he was dead in this story

I didn't, but finding out what happened is why I uninstalled the game. I heard there was a NG+, and then I promptly heard that none of your stuff except your skills and a ship you can't customize carry over.

That automatically shot any interest I had in the foot, because... Customizing your ship is by far the coolest part of the game.

Even saving blueprints would help!

I quit the game in like the 9th main quest because I was supposed to enter a planet, but upon arriving at the the star system there are a ton of ships at least 10 levels above me, so they killed me instantly, and I in exchange could barely damage them
That was the game forcing me to level up in side quests

Assuming it's true, I believe you're being hyperbolic. It'll mean a pivot from Xbox being a console brand first, to now prioritising publishing and Gamepass as a service first. This also doesn't mean Xbox consoles will go away, it just might mean that the Xbox will be similar to a Steamdeck in that it's a different way to play games, rather than being the only way to play certain games. Keep in mind however, that if you don't play on PC, Xbox will likely still remain the only console to offer Gamepass.

A lot of the problem with this is people shorthanding the clearly described parts of the canon; IVs and IIs under battlefield conditions mostly differ in operational experience being Spartans, which results in different tactics and methodology, with IVs taking different risks. Physically, the difference only really matters out of armor, which isn't a situation a Spartan shouldn't even be in in the first place and thus isn't really worth considering when comparing generations.

I can see both sides of the situation. On one hand, opening up HALO to PS5 could significantly boost the player base for the Master Chief Collection, possibly adding 10K-15K players or even more. I found this out when I was looking up a YouTube video on how to better myself well just some helpful tips for PvP cause I am not great with it honestly!

A YouTuber said don't just assume by looking at them you can find out how badly you hurt them by the bar on top of their emblem to let your fellow teammates you might be partied up with know how badly they are truly hurt.

Like you could take down their shields and say shields are down but you don't know how truly hurt they are until you actually look at that bar when you're down hopefully this makes sense?

makes sense but you can also tell by how lit up their shield is

Yeah that's a good reference too, I just think it's always good to tell your fire team hey I'm down this Spartans shield bar is half way down. Also it tells you how much health they have left after shields are taken down so you can be like their shields are down and the health bar is half or quarter down.

Oh wow. I had a friend introduce me to it maybe 6 months ago now. Fell head over heals for everything Halo and Spartan related. Starting to get a collection of books and bits happening. Haven't played for a while as I prefer playing the campaigns with someone than alone and my halo buddy hasn't been on. I suck at PVP so have been avoiding anything other than training and the campaign from infinite.

Whenever you're on, you can use the Looking for Group feature on Xbox dashboard. Not sure if Looking for Group feature on available on Steam/PC

theyre so bad, modifiers for no reason
