The library was painful in CE. That's where it got the reputation, cause it was really easy to get turned around and it seemed like a near endless slog on higher difficulties. CEA added arrows so you didn't get lost and by then most people had memorized the skips, so it wasn't near as painful.

Let me tell you why. I'm done fighting ark. I'm done forcing stupid stuff around just to make it playable. I'm tired of finding random points that auto kill me and make me lose every good thing I had in preparation for a boss simply because I walked too close to a weird hitbox corner. I'm tired of having to do thousands of ridiculous building hacks just to make a decent structure with failsafes that doesn't collapse. I could keep going but I think this is enough.
Even the new one has glitchy game breaking bugs.

I'd suggest to use any XP Boosts if you have them, they're very abundant and they really help you increase the speed of your pass progression.

but really, once you've completed your weekly challenges, its kind of a slog til the next week

and with how badly they nerfed the weekly challenges its not hard to complete them all

The Stanchion is a separate weapon in the lore, essentially a more powerful gauss sniper (handheld coilgun basically). It's a shame they didn't add it as a new weapon, though the extent to which it is similar to the S7 to justify it being only a weapon model could be discussed.

That is incredibly valuable: the long experience of seeing situational and ingredient variations over and over again. Very cool that you sort of "speak" cooking as a second language enough to be able to cook by feel on the fly. I'm the same way: comfortable with stovetop and the grill, but not so much with chemistry like baking and such.

I did just start trying sous vide, which has been a nice convenience.
