The most disappointing thing about Halo Infinite, aside the coolest parts of the game just being recordings, was the lack of characters. What happened to the arbiter? Osiris? The rest of blue team? Both design choices have benefits, the one is just far less common now despite it being fun. Think bioshock 1/2 or doom vs halo. One you have to use each weapon effectively knowing which is best for each encounter and decide which weapons you want to save for more difficult encounters later in the level and mastering quick switches on the fly to optimize the fight vs making sure you have the optimum for each situation even if it means juggling weapons into new areas, backtracking, etc. But it also means you're less creative cause you always want a shield stripper and a headshot weapon unless you have a power weapon option.

Too much effort put into realistic graphics and not enough into the little details that really matters.

It wasn't making every texture high quality alot of the magic was focusing on small details that from a distance no one would notice but enhanced the game

tempted to load halo 2 up on the 360. CE is cool too though. sucks that they don’t allow classic Xbox games on xbox one. so i wouldn’t have to play halo 2 and halo CE in the way that they came out on xbox one through mcc, instead i’ve been playing them on the 360, since 360 allowed backwards compat with the older xbox games.

some xbox classics you can play, but just not the original halo 2 or CE disks.
