F2P model with gameplay as priority one. The game should still include merit based cosmetics alongside store items. DLC tends to lock players out of matchmaking so I'd avoid that as much as possible.

I think its really funny there's all this hubbub over cosmetics when HINF has the least predatory MTX system compared to many other games. In a vacuum it might seem bad, but you're acting in bad faith them. Could it better? Yeah. Is it the worst? No, not by a longshot.

No MTX system is perfect. But shouting and screaming about wanting to earn free things in a free game with an already extremely robust pool of free items you could earn since the games debut is downright abysmal.

They've been using characters that are already built and rigged while making use of assets and maps that we've already seen. These are in engine cutscenes, not pretendered movies from Blur. What we got was already scarce but passable to build some kind of continuity. What could have possibly been difficult about a few shots of armor controlled by Iratus running down the same non-descript, cookie cutter halls and cutting down models of marines while Dinh and your Spartan fled? You could even cheat the 60 by having only flashes of light from the bandit. These are animations and models that are done.

I mean what I say when I say creating is hard and criticism is easy. I work in post production. I have a rough idea of production process. I don't work in graphics or 3D animation. My knowledge there is more than non-existent, but rough.

In my experience (though admittedly slightly different) I do think all of that is doable for a 60 while a 3-4 month season plays out if you're moderately staffed and leadership is responsive to approval requests.

I definitely agree about them having to field those complaints. But I actually wish 343 would turn off their replies sometimes. They've been great at being responsive to fans but sometimes to a fault.
