Would be nice to choose game modes such as FFA without it being removed at all. Some of the modes are great but being forced in a playlist takes the fun out of it. Ninja slayer is pretty great too. I hope Fiesta stays but seeing ninja slayer removed idk.

What specifically is wrong with the spawns, the map flow, the weapon placement, your own lack of ability, etc. Make a comprehensive list and express it in polite/even tone in the appropraite channel. The hookshot is in the ugliest place ever for the team that's already at a disadvantage, it's far more team orientated than other maps for reasons that are not good; especially if you team up with randos, you can easily lose your progress even if you do everything right

This sucks... I'm getting a bug on my series x where it says "we cant save more data for this game or app"
And it keeps happening despite me having PLENTY of space. So the fix I found was to wipe cache etc so it would delete all local files
Except... my minecraft world won't upload because it keeps hitting it with that bug

The fix I found was to wipe out local stuff and then it should go back to normal but I can't do that until I secure my world

I've been critical of them too, but at some point you have to give it rest. You think they're just deliberately not working on things? Because buddy, I'll tell you right now that it's never as simple as it seems.
It's really easy to look at COD's literally thousands of devs, with over 11 support studios and judge them as a baseline of quality (which isnt even true these days, go figure), its a different story entirely when you're working with a fraction of that manpower and resources, while costantly getting hate thrown your way.

All we can hope for is that their response times are fast. So when a gamebreaking bug appears, they can plug it quickly through submitted tickets and testing.

i've looked at it critically and i think 343 could use some work in listening to player feedback.
however, now, with the massive shakeups, i'm excited to see it's fruits, but it may take a while. All we can do for now is give our feedback here, give suggestions, and hope the new management is better than 4-5 era (although 5 even had better player feedback, didn't it? they left the forge weapon pad glitch in..)

A graphics artist inserted a droideka in the background of a promotional image. There were no plans for a droideka at all

We could point fingers all day. However, due to some leaked information I saw not too long ago, Phil Spencer basically said he did pretty much nothing in oversight for the Halo games and let 343 do whatever they wanted.
So you can't point fingers at Microsoft anymore, at least mostly.
I don't really have anyone to point fingers at specifically for the downfall of Infinite's multiplayer since it was due to so many issues, and one of them was in fact Microsoft's fault- they took a hands-off approach with Halo and had low standards for everything pretty much, but Microsoft has a weird aversion to hiring people, which leads to contractors because 343 needs more people on board, which is fair, and then the contracts expire and there's a bunch of code half-baked or entangled that the employees now have to fix up and make work with other things properly.
The fans don't always know better, but I'd say most times they do. The fans are the target demographic, so obviously you pander to them and don't just stick your thumb up your •ss and make whatever YOU want. Then you upset your fanbase and lose the target demographic. 343's weird obsession with pandering to a wider demographic is just.. well, just that. Weird. They, with Infinite, struck a balance of keeping old fans and bringing in new ones- that's great, but 4/5 went too far in pandering to a wider audience and ended up being games I, personally, didn't enjoy too much. 4 was chasing after CoD instead of just staying with their own huge fanbase, and ended up with the multiplayer evaporating in under a year. 5 tried to follow advanced movement trends and it ended up extremely sweaty and competitive, which turned off pretty much the entire social fanbase, until the updates finally kicked in.
Here's some things fans were able to change and shut up about:
Sprint- Infinite hit a great balance there. It's not almost any bit faster than walking, but it makes you feel faster somehow, and it's a vessel for sliding and other 1/2
advanced movement features, like sliding and clambering. Speaking of,
Advanced Movement- Infinite left sliding and clambering, which left it feeling fun and the maps feeling open to exploration. They moved thrusters back to equipment, which is now single-use, and the grappleshot is just fun, nothing else needed to be said.
Art Style- Once we moved away from 4/5's style, and we moved towards a Reach-like, gritty artstyle again, we all shut up about it because it looks like armor again, and not clothes used in training games or whatever. 2/2

Loadout system was specifically left out of PvP games in Reach, besides Firefight, which was meant to be a CoOp game, and the Covenant team was just for fun I suppose.
I'd say cumulative points giving bonuses, and getting points is done by killing people, would be a killstreak system. That's kinda the whole point, yeah?
They also turned sprinting into a separate button, and changed it from an equipment. Now, I prefer it like that, since it's not an insane sprint speed or anything, it's how I said at the end of the messages.
Separately, picking things in your loadouts to power you up (like mobility, firepower, etc) is very CoD. It's like a perk system.

As someone that grew up with Halo, playing since CE launched, 4, 5 and Infinite are my favorite Halo experiences so far. I am absolutely not a CoD fan. I might play the odd campaign, I don't touch multiplayer or Zombies and haven't played anything since Advanced Warfare (I think).
We don't do gatekeeping around here and we certainly do do this whole "true fan" nonsense. Doesn't matter what Halo is your favorite, you're a Halo fan

I think a good “compromise” would be that when you spawn in you have “inferior” weapons like in quake champions and you need to find the “better” version. Imagine starting with the smg from H2 and then finding the assault rifle which is just the “better” version
This will most likely suck in practice though

ive deathmatched in quake. spawning with a shotgun and facing someone with's got the height advantage, armor advantage, and weapon advantage can make for a very unfun time if you dont purposefully hunt for a weapon of equal strength
