Reboots and retellings can be fun but the amount of people that want to continually scrape things and start over the moment something they don't like is there astounds me.
How could you ever learn from anything and make it better if you keep deleting the start and never progress onward?

I think the reboot would be a good idea because the story as of now is going nowhere. What we potentially had for a sequel to Halo 5 was squandered.

Plus, everybody loves the original trilogy. Reboot that to make it better without making controversial decisions, and it'll be thriving again.

But most of all, my major feedback is if they did reboot the trilogy, don't release a multiplayer game every two years or so. Just make the new multiplayer extremely robust and support it for 5 or 10 years during the SP releases.

Considering the advances made in forge, tons of new maps can be added in support of the SP release, along with developers adding new weapons since everything is part of the same engine.

I genuinely cant see a reboot of the original 3 being received well by anyone. What do you change? What new ideas would be vehemently hated? Do you add sprint to the New Halo 1 or not? Would Cortana be purple or blue? Do you make grunts an inch taller? Do you make Elites playable?

Halo 5 had an interesting ending and I really wanted that to continue. Rather than dedicating to that story, the devs basically got too scared and made it into a cutscene.

Play all of them in release order (the order it shows on the install page for the games; CE, 2, 3, 3: ODST, Reach, and 4 I believe)
I think H3 is the most active MP, but I'm not too sure personally
And in terms of skipping, I'd say no, but it comes down to personal preference really once you've played them

Well the Banished don't make their own super soldiers, they hire human mercenaries known as Janissaries, which is basically the closest thing to a Spartan Venezia has. The kids seen in that story are just the ones being forced into that line of work

And well, outside of the Prophet's Prelates, there's not really been much in the way of Covenant super soldiers

Passes are no longer permanent to buy whenever, but in roughly 2-3 updates (I think, idrk) any payed items will go to the store, and any free items will go to the Exchange, so free armor will always be free (payed armor/Premium items will most likely get upscaled in price, which I'm not a fan of, but)

Yea, it's been particularly bad today. Half of the matches I've played I've found myself solo in the hill against about 5 bipbaps and grunts spamming grenades.

Then when I inevitably get blown up, I can see my team mates scurrying from the other side of the map doing God knows what lol.

Just redownloaded Infinite and going through my armor customization and Realize there isn't alot of Grounded Military stuff for the default armor whatver it is.

I encountered another stupid bug on The Sequence when replaying it. After the initial fights, I fast travel to a FOB, grab a scorpion and head to the first spire, I clear it out no issues and get that part of the sequence. Then I fast travel to another FOB, go to another spire and its empty, no enemies and the door is open already. I cannot get that part of the sequence. I try to replay the mission instead of going to a FOB, same issue

Work was done, from memory, on ODST diento Firefight and they translated that campaign as well (I'd need to look it up again to confirm). As ODST shares an engine with H3, it was easier to get the same networking updates in place.

As mentioned, it was estimated at 6 to 12 months per game to update the rest of the titles, which is a massive amount of work. It has absolutely nothing to do with laziness

honestly, playing halo from its initial release date in early 2000's, this game franchise changed my life. amazing story and gameplay. many of my irl friends and i would spend countless hours playing split screen, co-op, LAN parties with many others in our groups, pulled all nighters playing the campaigns after waiting in the lines at Gamestop for the newest halo games to come out. but halo infinite did not hit home with me. it was all about the times me my friends had back in the day with halo for what it truly was. you just had to be there.

Theres also the issue of a shrinking playerbase. As you have less players the two ends of the skill curve will be matched more often, its inevitable
