this is not an "issue" you should ask this question in #🏎・general instead.
in any case, when you reach 13 years old this game will let you login social account. Login a Game Center account on your ipad first, then login the very same account on your mac, if there is a progress on your Mac it will ask which progress you would like to use.
Note that once you choose, the other progress will be destroyed forever on both of your iPad and Mac so choose carefully.

There should be a section where you can submit issues not listed in there. Or at least that's how it should be. If you can't find such section, you can try submit it as "No reward received" since it's technically a form of wrong distribution of rewards. You should mention specifically which event, at what time did you received the wrong reward, your reward content and expected reward content. Try to include as much information as possible.
Some people made a habit of screencap their ranking just in case something like this will happen.

the update has yet to be released so if any FPS issue occurs it's most likely from your client side.
Try have a look around with in-game Graphics settings, your monitor resolution to see if there is anything has been changed, on Windows PC you can also look at OS power setting and BIOS OC settings.
If you upgrade your OS to Big Sur recently it would also be the cause, since old games on Big Sur would run through Rosetta which is an extra overhead. (This information is not confirmed | technical stuff ||since from Apple statement, this simulator is for the change of architecture from x86 to ARM - new M1 chip for latest Silicone devices - which should not be the case if you use an old Mac with x86 chipset||)
For the in-game graphics setting, I would recommend keeping "Resolution Scale" at 100% since Mac already have built-in Super Sampling so it's not necessary a good trade-off (I guess they just keep the same as Windows for the simplicity) and disable Anti-Aliasing.
For the Mac, try lower the screen resolution or play the game in windowed-mode. If the issue comes from your graphics card, this should stabelize your FPS (the lower the game screen/ resolution, the higher the FPS until it hit the FPS Limit).

I'm sorry it was not helping, but like I said, since it is most likely from your client side (no one else complain about this and next update is still far away), this may be a compatibility issue with the OS, Big Sur is still new after all. Could anyone from Gameloft please confirm there is no silent update in the last 2 weeks? It will help clarify the case.
As you said it used to run fine on Big Sur, and from my working experience, to fix an issue that is not even a "stopper" of a very specific version of one specific OS/ device on an app that supports multiple platforms, you could have guessed it's very unlikely to happen.
For all the reasons above, personally, I would use Time Machine to roll back my Mac to before the issue happens if the FPS is unacceptable while keeps an eye on any OS updates.
That said tho, GL may still prove me wrong here. And by all means, I hope they do.
P/S: What Mamba said is something to check also. Try to open Activity Monitor and see what is the bottleneck (CPU/ GPU/ RAM or w/e) and troubleshoot anything putting load on that hardware when the lag happens. If the game itself swallows all 100% then... you have my condolences.

im on big sur i dont think thats it, and if cod works @finite summit then i think your best bet is to reinstall the app, and make sure ur backed up with the apple id so u dont lose progress if u do

Big Sur on a MacBook Pro (Mid - 2015) with a widescreen monitor attached here - Mac A9 runs fine with all graphics options maxed. MBP fans sound like they're preparing for take off, but they eventually quieten down a little.

After turning down the graphics to medium and checking Activity Monitor - my CPU is maxing out at around at only 6-10% while playing haha! And it still runs horribly, basically unplayable. This will happen if you link your progress to iOS and play the new version of the game on your iOS device before returning to Mac. You can continue playing on iOS, but to play on Mac after seeing this you will have to wait for the update to be released on MacOS.

I was able to login the game normally so I tried to reinstall the game to see if there is any other issue from that but apparently it's still working fine.
I also asked in #🏎・general if there is anyone else got blocked by this but there was none. Ofc I can't say I reached out to all the server but if it's a well-known issue someone should have replied.
Your case seem to be a separated issue.
If you remember your player ID I would suggest you post a ticket here or contact Customer Care since it does affect your progress on MP. If the blocking game message state differently, please include the screenshot as well.
To be frank it's very not likely to help you in this case, but imho it will help prevent other players from getting in the same situation in the future.

In my defence and from your post above, I'm not sure how you expected me to know part of your life history or even what you have and haven't already attempted to resolve your problem. I'm happy to continue if you want to too.

Please forgive my apparently insincere questions and comments, but unless you say what you've tried so far, I simply can't know what is left to confirm or establish so the items below may or may not appear pertinent.

How intermittent is the issue? When did it stop working?

I have experienced the same scenario while behind a VPN or Proxy. I've also noticed that Little Snitch, Fiddler, Charles and Wireshark (when sniffing) can sometimes have an impact if recently used.

I would also expect "unusual" behaviour if a component is missing or possibly corrupted within the A9 app package contents. It is possible that you've attempted a fresh reinstallation from the App Store, in which case, let's move on.

Since you can already reach the various Parisian "asa*fsg" servers in the gameloft.com domain (given by the fact that you can login and your profile data is loaded), it is worth reconfirming that neither your Mac, router, firewall (or Little Snitch) are filtering any AWS connections (wouldn't expect this - but it is possible that a wildcard configuration charge is filtering access to a Gameloft or AWS server )

I can only guess if you've tried accessing your A9 account from a different iDevice both on your local network and on a mobile network.

There is more root cause analysis we can perform, however, I'll give you a moment to decide what you would like to do. If you haven't already done so log a ticket with the Gameloft Support Team. This allows the investigation to continue from both sides.

What are the reasons for the macOS version failing to display the necessary buttons for interstitial adverts when refuelling cars or tickets?

With the introduction of the new Apple Mac Silicon M1 machines, it is possible to install iOS applications on an M1 device. When installed on a Mac Mini M1 the iOS version has the appropriate and functional buttons for interstitial adverts. There are no apparent issues or errors.

Since the current A9 update was released Mac owners that have iOS devices are required to switch across to iOS just to watch refueling ads. Once they have watched all the necessary adverts they can return to their MacOS A9. This is undoutably an inconveniece that distracts the player further from the game.

Please advise.

I get very jagged edges on rendered cars (static items are fine) in the garage and on tracks. It's not a game-breaker. As many of you have noticed, the ads are no longer present in the game when you're playing on macOS. After investigating this issue, we have found that ads are no longer supported on macOS. After looking into all possible solutions, unfortunately, the macOS version will have to remain without the option of watching ads.

While the ads will remain available if you log in on the same account from iOS, the only option to skip the time while playing on macOS will be with the Tokens.

• your or your opponent's connection was poor/unstable right before crossing the finish, both of you crossed almost at the same time (possibly, your oponent was 100-200 miliseconds ahead)
• you both finished at the same frame however your opponent was slightly ahead, now this is rare to see.

I'm not sure about PS5 but PS4 controller does work with A9. From a technical point of view, because Mac only have 1 Game Controller framework for PS and XBox controller, if PS5 controller is not working for any ungodly reason I blame Sony for it.
PS4 on Windows however, you will need DS4Windows to play A9.

Additionally it is no longer possible to reach the lower line of buttons (legend pass, special events, daily events, ...) with keyboard navigation. PLEASE fix the keyboard navigation for Mac-users! It's fine that you updated the gamepad navi, but you screwed the keyboard navi obviously.

In a normal gaming session we do up to 50-100 races in different modes. And Mac-users with TD (keyboard) used to do it all without ever touching the mouse. Now I have to constantly look where this little runaway is hiding, just to click the right button.
PLEASE fix it in a small bugfix-update! Don't let us wait the whole season for the next patch! Please!

hello asphalt 9 team, sorry to be bothering you but i think i can speak on behalf of most mac players as it is really frustrating that we have all tried to delete/redownload, restart, sign out/in and nothing seems to be allowing us to play the game as 'cannot connect to network.' I was literally 4 BPs away from getting it to 5 stars (had 8 BPs to still get with the Ford GT and Cien). I would have reached that today easily. I saw that it was removed this morning and then noticed a note here about GL messing up the end date. Really?? Not one person at GL saw that the end date was wrong for almost a week?
