It seems running with the car at Max during practice but then competing with your own car stats is throwing off and confusing some of our players. Some of our players have helped us identify a bug, where a few were able to race on intersections with the car at max, as it was during the practice run.

As you may have noticed, we recently changed the conditions on the Showroom events.

At launch, the Showroom event were mistakenly using the car's overall rank to consider an event accomplished or not. This was causing several tracking issues when taking into consideration how epic import parts apply, so we have applied some changes to effectively reflect the initial intention of the design team.
Rest assured we will also be including epic import parts in upcoming Showroom offers to compensate for the changes.

**Drive Syndicate 7 – Anti-hacking Update **

As part of our continued efforts to combat the use of hacks and exploits in-game, we were investigating a well-known hack during our latest Drive Syndicate event.

Thanks to the hard work of our developers along with the collaboration of our community and player reports, we’ve been able to identify and hopefully put a fix to it for future Drive Syndicate events.

This will enable us to finally put a stop to players being able to improperly progress in future Drive Syndicate events with the use of illegal third-party software and claiming rewards they haven’t rightfully earned through their own efforts.

We’ll also be taking retro-active actions and providing the most egregious offenders with a 7-day ban, along with removing the Koenigsegg CC850 they earned by hacking the Drive Syndicate event.

We hope our efforts will help in continuing to provide a fair playing field for all in future events, and hope this serves as an example of our commitment against hackers and exploiters.

Hi all,

Today, October 11th at around 9:30 GMT, we're going to be bringing some changes to our Season Token store, based on the feedback and use we've been observing since launch:

Regular Card Pack prices will be reduced to 1,000 Season Tokens per pack.
Epic Import Part Pack prices will be reduced to 6,500 Season tokens per pack.
Season Token Relay Offers will be removed.

As we're seeing most of our community find more value in our packs, we really want to hone in to what you're finding more useful in your day to day.
Although we thought Relay Offers would be useful to our players, most of our players don't seem to find much value in them and prefer to continue investing in card packs.
So, to continue to improve our Season Tokens, we've reduced the price on what players find the most useful, to offer you more value where it matters most.

Thanks to your feedback, we're currently reviewing the conditions set for the event, as some require our legends to pull off some pretty challenging tricks to achieve them.

We've already addressed the Stage 4 conditions, changing the barrel roll requirements to jumps, and the Stage 6 condition requiring spins has been reduced from 4 to 2.
We'll continue to revise the rest of the conditions during the week and update them accordingly.

[FACEBOOK CLOUD & AMAZON VERSIONS WILL BE SUNSET]

Hello Legends,

Starting on March 6, 2024, the Facebook Cloud and Amazon versions of Asphalt 9: Legends will be sunset and you will not be able to access it anymore. In-app purchase options will also stop working on February 15 2024 for Amazon and on March 6, 2024 for Facebook Cloud.

Note: You will still be able to continue using your Facebook Account to login to your game on other devices where you have it enabled. The Sunset will only be removing the ability to play the game directly in your Facebook browser.

You can continue your progress in Asphalt 9: Legends on any of our other platforms by transferring your account.

[Android Account Pregress Issues]

We've received reports form a few android users that when first logging in to Asphalt Legends Unite, their account seems to have lost progress.

Good news is we already have a fix running, which can automatically resolve this issue. It can take up to 1 hour to resolve lost progress since you first connect to Asphalt Legends Unite, but restarting your game once the time has passed should allow you to recover all your progress once more.

We apologize for this inconvenience, and we'll also be deploying a permanent fix to the issue in a few days.

[Multiplayer Changes]

[Windows Account Progress Issues]

We're continuing to look into reports of players suffering from loss of progression on their Accounts on Windows, particularly from our more veteran players who had not logged into the game since April.

If you still have the Asphalt 9: Legends installed on your device, please take the following precautionary steps:

  • Open your A9 game and make sure to login to your Xbox Live Account or Gameloft ID to ensure your progression is saved.
  • Close the game and uninstall it.
  • Install the new Asphalt Legends Unite version from the game store of your choice.
  • Open Asphalt Legends Unite and login to your Xbox Live Account or Gameloft ID
  • Your progression should be fully restored.

In case you have already installed Asphalt Legends Unite and you did not have an Xbox Live save or Gameloft ID save active before launching the game, please get in touch with our Customer Support and make sure to provide the following:

  • Your old in-game ID, the one that started with a "W" (ex: w-XXXXXX)
  • Your current game ID, the new one you received after migrating and starting with a "U" (ex: u-XXXXXXX)

This will allow our customer support representative to identify both accounts and assist in restoring your lost progress.

[Discord House Keeping]

Just a quick notice to let you know we've carried out some quick housekeeping on Discord.

Apart from the updates to our general rules (no changes, just updating from Asphalt 9 to Asphalt Legends Unite), we've also updated the colors of most titles to give it a more "Unite" look and feel.

One larger change is we've merged the Fan-Art, Show-Off, and Meme channels into one new Community-Media channel! We hope uniting these communities will help get more eyes on your creations.

We do have a few changes planned further down the line, as combining platform specific channels (like the Clubs channels), but we'll await until Asphalt Legends Unite has released on Nintendo Switch (still no confirmation on news unfortunately) when we'll all finally be one community and won't require segregation.

We will be keeping the separate issues channels for platforms, as they could still be useful to help categorize your reports.

[Android Hotfix now live ]

We just released a hotfix, which will focus on fixing several performance and crash issues that have been reported by the community.

These fixes include but are not limited to:

  • Implemented improvements for performance on some lower end devices.
  • Fixed several instances that could cause shadow flickering.
  • Fixed an issue causing low FPS on some Samsung devices.
  • Fixed performance during the Tutorial missions.
  • Fixed an issue causing the game to start on a black screen.
  • Other improvements to reduce crashes and improve performance.

The team will continue to listen to reports and feedback from the community to guide their continued efforts to improve the overall game experience. We’re already currently looking into more performance fixes, particularly for Multiplayer matches, which we’ll hopefully be able to release next week.

[Discord House keeping]

Given we successfully launched the Nintendo Switch version of the game yesterday, we're going to be doing some house keeping in Discord as all our players are now under the same roof.

[New Hotfix is live]

A new Hotfix is rolling out now for Android, iOS, Windows, Xbox and Steam.

The new Hotfix should resolve various crashes, in particular those experienced in devices with PowerVR GPUs, along with some fixes trying to improve the overall multiplayer experience, which should also slightly improve the MP experience on Xbox (with more fixes being lined up for the next Update).
iOS heating issues should also be reduced with these fixes, so please let us know if you experience any difference in your longer play sessions.
The "Prize" button issue for the GP events should also be resolved in this hotfix.

This hotfix will unfortunately not be deployed for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch versions today, as we will be including fixes for those platforms in our next update to avoid any potential delays.

Thanks to everyone's reports, we've identified multiple issues with the Cayman GT4 Clubsport event.

As a result, we've decided we're going to deprecate the event and restart it to force a reset with all the fixes for all players.
It will reset your progress, but you get to keep the BPs and Tokens you earned already (and you will be able to earn them again with the reset).

[Club Clash Fix]

The team has been able to fix the Club Clash issue our players were reporting with duplicated maps appearing for selection.

[World League Changes]

A new round starts today, and we've tweaked a few things based on your feedback and suggestions:

  • Upgraded Free Try Cars: Our players have been asking for some more competitive options to choose from, so we've given our free try cars a boost to help keep the competition on their toes.
  • **Legend League ELO: **We're bringing back an ELO rating system for our Legend League players. As some players felt Legend League races were a bit too deterministic, we've reintroduced ELO for our top league to help balance things out among our top competitors.

[Multiplayer Update: ELO ratings Coming to Platinum League]

As you've seen these past months, the team is listening to all the MP1 feedback and trying to adapt the mode to make it as fun as possible for all.
We've achieved some success these past few weeks with introducing ELO rank to Legend League, adding new game modes and minimizing league mixing from our matchmaking.

However we've noticed an increase of players encountering a lot of 1v1 races, especially in the higher tiers of Platinum League. So, in order to help lessen the impact of these match-ups, we're introducing ELO rating to Platinum League in the next reset, which will help soften the blow of a loss, and make those dreaded "-20s" become a thing of the past.

Hopefully this will continue to improve the multiplayer experience for all, and we hope you'll continue to share your feedback with us in Discord.

[CLUB CLASH COMING TO AN END]

The mode will be leaving our game next update

The most recent Club Clash issue, which we have thankfully resolved now, has compelled the team to take a serious look at the Clash mode and discuss the future.

Over the years since release, the mode has unfortunately become more problematic as time has moved on and has also become increasingly difficult to work on to resolve any issues as tends to happen with older base code.

Accompanied by the Clash’s waning appeal amongst our community and given the amount of work we’d need to dedicate to the mode to bring it back to standards, the team has decided to move on and dedicate our efforts instead to our upcoming new game modes to offer an alternative.

This effectively means that we will no longer be running the Club Clash as a recurring event.

For the upcoming update, the Clash store will still remain available, to allow enough time for players to be able to use their remaining Club Clash Token reserves to claim rewards. Any remaining Club Clash tokens remaining will be automatically converted into credits once the period ends.

The team will also be ensuring that the Club Clash cars are also made available elsewhere in the game, to allow you to continue their progression.

In the meantime, we at least hope that removing the time commitment required by our legends in Clash will give them more chance to enjoy playing the new Gauntlet Mode, where we’ll be including the Devel Sixteen as the ultimate reward, as we continue to work on new activities to enjoy alongside your club members, like the Club Events feature we’re already planning for Q4.

It hasn’t been an easy decision to make, and we are confident this can allow us to bring you more exciting features in the future.

We wanted to thank you all for your passion and dedication to the Club Clash these past years, and we hope you can understand our decision.

[ADS ISSUE ON SWITCH]

It seems our Nintendo Switch users are having issues with their "Ads" replacement system, and are unable to refill or claim other bonuses.
This seems to have been caused with the update, as we tried to bring a similar system to users who exclusively play on our Steam and Epic Store platforms.

The team is already looking into this and working to find a solution as soon as we can.

[NEW CAR BLUEPRINT PROGRESSION]

Some of our most eagle-eyed Legends have already noticed the the Ford MK IV only requires 25 BPs to unlock.

To shed some light on this, yes, we're changing the Blueprint requirements in order to upgrade cars.
For this update we will be bringing this new BP progression for 3 cars: the Ford GT MK IV, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and the Toyota GR Supra 2023.

The progression to unlock each star will be as follows:

Ford GT MK IV: 25 BPs / +30 BPs / +35 BPs / +40 BPs / +50 BPs / +60 BPs
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N: 15 BPs / +25 BPs / +35 BPs / +50 BPs
Toyota GR Supra 2023: 15 BPs / +25 BPs / +35 BPs / +50 BPs
As you can see, compared to our previous system, we want to offer a much easier unlock requirement for our cars moving forward, and weight the progression more towards maxing the car.

We hope that these changes will allow our players to get a much easier access to new cars and to help them grow their garages further, while also offering a more natural progression towards maxing cars in our events and future re-runs.

You can expect this to be applied to our new cars in future updates, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts on these changes on Discord!

[SEASON END DATE CHANGES]

In order to ensure our next Season launch has the proper support and avoid launching on a public holiday, the Korean Spring Season will be ending 1 day early. as we will launch the new season, Toyota x Lexus Season, this 30th of April, instead of the planned 1st of May.

The only live events to be impacted will be the Korean Fast Food Festival and Season Showcase events, which will both be one day shorter.

As the Unite Pass will also be 1 day shorter, current Unite Pass holders can expect to receive a compensation of 500 Tokens and 500,000 Credits for the inconvenience, Wednesday at 13:00 CET.

[SPOTLIGHT EVENT DELAY AND CHANGES]

Apologies for the unclear communication around this, but we'd like to confirm that the Spotlight event will be starting tomorrow, Thursday, 08/05, and will end Monday, 19/05.

The delay was caused by our hotfix release, which included necessary elements that would allow us to change the event's track automatically each time you play alongside fixes for the ads issues most platforms have been suffering for the past month.
By delaying the start date a few days, we can ensure all our players have the hotfix installed and can enjoy the event alongside the rest of the Asphalt Community.

The team will also be implementing some changes to the event:

Car diversification

Change: Add finite conditions, 25 for each car.
Reason: We want players to use a greater variety of cars in the event, instead of simply focusing on a single car. This was also the reason why we allow for infinite fuel during the event. We hope these changes will encourage our players further to use and upgrade all featured cars during events.
We have also increased the amount of Spotlight Currency that players can get from each condition, to compensate for conditions no longer being infinite.

Market balance changes

Change: Reduce the amount of Spotlight Currency that can be exchanged for credits and add a tokens option.
Reason: The Spotlight currency for credits exchange was offered more as a way to slightly top up your rewards if you came up short. Instead we noticed players would simply purchase this currency without engaging with the event. To help correct this we've added the option to purchase with tokens and reduced the amount that can be obtained with credits. We will still be maintaining the trade coin exchange to help get those missing spotlight tokens.
Other Changes:

  • The market will now refresh every 12 hours instead of 8. During these intervals players will be able to refresh the market twice using tokens.
  • We've increased the frequency support car BPs appearing in the market to help you progress in maxing them quicker.
  • We've included a new slot to provide Upgrade Items and merged the Epic Import Parts slots into one, to always be able to offer one of each.

More randomness!

Change: We are adding a new system to Spotlights that will change the track randomly every time you play.
Reason: We want each race to feel different so we added different tracks and locations that will be selected randomly. Even if you face the same track, the items might be placed on different spots.

Increased challenge

Change: The Starting Time has been reduced and the time awarded for each collectible has been increased. The higher your car rank, the more seconds you'll earn per collectible.
Reason: We want to increase the challenge of the event and make the car upgrades feel more meaningful.

Hey guys! Now that you've all discovered the (quite incredible) change to featured packs, I wanted to clarify a few things about it so we're all on the same page. (Don't worry, only good news ahead).

  1. YES. IT'S INTENDED. Breathe and relax, I'm not taking this away from you (for now.)
  2. It's even better than you might think! Not only does it remove duplicates from the pool, but actually sort of redistributes its odds among the other featured drops. Meaning if you maxxed out a FEATURED car, the other FEATURED ones you might not have, get better chances of dropping!
  3. This change is (as highlighted) only for featured cars. Normal cars in the pack remain unaffected by this.

As you know, we're working on a new Vanity system for next update, where our first step will be to re-adapt the current customization unlock system from targeted challenges to a new Style Token system, which you can earn by participating in most events and you're not forced to engage on specific events you might not enjoy.

As we fine tune the balancing for the new feature, EVO cars will be unavailable in PS Tournaments for now, to keep things fair.
We also have a slight issue with EVO car parts applying their bonuses correctly in private lobbies and are already working to resolve this. We will consider the possibility of deploying a hotfix to resolve this, but will be fully resolved by our next update in a worst case scenario.

[HOTFIX AVAILABLE TODAY]

Good news everyone!

A hotfix is headed your way that will resolve a few issues that appeared in our latest update, including:

  • Grand Prix issues have been resolved.
  • Security cars are now less aggressive and back to normal. (Still removed from career until next update, FYI)
  • Resolved issues that were causing some legends to end up in quarantine.
  • Some missing Decals are now appearing again in garages.

The hotfix also resolves some minor UI issues for EVO and the offerwall.

For Switch and Switch 2 legends, the hotfix will be available in a couple of days after we're able to capture the free roaming Porsche of Legends again, as it seems to have escaped from Switch user's garages. It should only take a couple of days and we'll keep you posted.

[NINTENDO SWITCH HOTFIX NOW AVAILABLE]

The Hotfix can now be downloaded for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 devices, thank you for your patience.

However, the Nintendo Switch 2 Update DLC we mentioned in our previous patch notes had been delayed further until our first update of 2026.

We apologize for this delay, but rest assured that the game will still be fully operational for all Nintendo devices.

[GP RELAUNCH AND EVO GP CHANGES]

Now that the hotfix is available on all platforms, the teams will be doing final checks to ensure that the hotfix is working as intended and that players have had enough time to install it.

Once the checks are complete the Grand Prix event will return early next week.

However, we've also identified some minor issues with the integration of the EVO settings within Grand Prix events and when attempting to run 2 Grand Prix events simultaneously, so to avoid future issues, the EVO Grand Prix will be changed to an EVO Ranked TLE event.

This will allow us to maintain the competitive aspect of the event, without too many changes on the rewards. The team will work on ironing out these issues to allow us to run EVO GPs in the future.

In the meantime our planned EVO GP event for the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, will be releasing on the 5th of November as a Ranked TLE event.

Feb 16th

The new Update will become available for all Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 devices to download.

Feb 17th

Special Events, Showcase Events, Multiplayer events and other missing events will become available.
NOTE: The Fire Horse Spotlight event will now run from the 17th to the 25th on all platforms, to help simplify things.

Compensation

[NINTENDO SWITCH DELAY - UPDATE]

We'd like to thank our switch players for helping us investigate a solution to help compensate for the missing Reputation points on Switch.

To help our Switch players catch up once their events return, we'll be applying the following changes:

  • Increased Rep Points multiplier for Switch Players in upcoming events (Lunar New Year Spotlight, 004c Car Hunt, LEGO Stingray Hunt, Aventador J Special Hunt).
  • Reduced the number of required club members in the LP Showcase and E-R9 Special Events.
  • As Switch Players could not partake in the Legend Pass Showcase, we'll be adding 150 VIP and 150 000 Credits to the compensation package.

We'd like to also confirm that the Legend Pass will be offered at $4.99 (or region equivalent discount) for Nintendo Switch consoles.

While we wait for the update and start of events, Switch Players will also be able to take part in a Special Car Hunt for the Glickenhaus 007S, arriving tomorrow and will be available until the 27th.

Most of you should know by now a new bot was installed on the server. This is a verification bot for new joins. All existing members are grandfathered in (unless your actions in this server warrant a Mod or Asphalt Team member to run a verification on you) and do not have to do anything. But-- be advised, IF you run a verification on yourself, and do not pass, then you must complete the verification process or you will automatically have restricted access on the server. You, and any new joins, that need to verify will receive a DM with instructions on what you need to do & how to do it. So make sure your DM's are enabled. We have changed the number of players required to claim the Club Rewards in the Special Event. While you still might see the same issues as before, most of you should now have an option to claim their rewards if at least 2 members have completed the condition.
If you still see the old requirement with 5 members, restarting the game should help.

Please note that the main issue is still there and you might still experience the same issue if you have enough active members. Unfortunately, the is no other workaround in this case rather than changing the club with more active members in the special event.
IMPORTANT Please remember that changing a club could affect your eligibility for club decal. If after playing in the ranked event (stage 26) you have changed your club you need to finish at least one race to secure your rewards in the new club.

We've noticed a confusion with the new garage level experience bar. The experience you see is not the total number of experiences you have, but it's only a progression in the current level. i.e. every time you reach a level, it will start from 0 and will set a new goal.

As you know, you’ll get 5 Premium Packs each time you level up. This should give a good boost to all of you who are in early stage of level progression.

Important note: When your level will be recalculated from the old system to the new one, you will get 5 Premium Packs no matter how many levels have been increased compared to the old system. However, you can still claim you Tokens from the profile achievements for each level gained through this transaction.

In meanwhile, if you're facing freezes or fps drop issues, do not try to reinstall the game. When you first launch the game after the update or after the setup, the game is downloading additional data about the map to improve the overall game performance afterward. Recently, we encountered some tough issues after launching the newest update, including crashes, decreased graphics, control issues, and longer load times. We owe you all an update on the situation.

To explain a bit the nature of the issues - we are working on improving game performance, and unfortunately this backfired and led to some unexpected issues… But rest assured we are still striving to improve the game performance across devices.

The hotfix is being baked, and you can expect to be released next week, as we need to have it properly tested before launch. We are bummed we cannot deliver it to you before the weekend - but there is some good news however, which brings us to the next point - compensation.

[Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4]

The Key for the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 will be obtainable at tier 50 in the Legend Pass, though you will not be able to skip the tiers at this time. To reach that tier and complete all the missions, you'll have to star up some of the required cars.

The car will have its own Special Event in the upcoming month and special offers in the shop (unlocked when reached Special Event conditions) that will help you max out the car. Owning the Lamborghini Diablo GT will be a requirement to access this event. The Lamborghini Diablo GT will be available in the shop with token packs. Check out the Legend Pass to win extra blueprints.

The Club Season has ended today and unfortunately, the remaining time for the season was incorrectly displayed, for this reason a lot of players were still expecting to be able to play and complete the milestones. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We know it's annoying to have this happen, and we're sorry. We'll do our best to prevent it from happening again in the future, and to help make up for this inconvenience, we've decided to send a compensation to everyone.
