There used to be a suggestions channel on this server, what happened to it.
We could have suggested for the devs to make the mouse pointer go back to the way it was

I use 100% res on a ~1/4 screen size window (easier for my eyes to process everything onscreen at once) with settings slider on "Very High" and have had no issues besides memory clogging, which i just quit my browser for. 8-core M1 btw

It has improved so they did do something, though still not as good as ipad as i find screen shakes too much now

Ya it improved to only 2 seconds of lag instead of 4-5. I tried on Greenland with TD into the S curve; hold drift and nothing happens until the second section of the curve.

after i installed the latest Updates for macOS 13.6, i cannot start Asphalt9 anymore.
Tried to clean up the caches, deleted and reinstalled the app. No progress.

It keeps crashing on the Startscreen, where the pink laserpointer is circeling in the lower right.

i may send a complete crash report - but as i do not know if there is sensible Data in it, i would prefer to send it via e.g. eMail...

Nah, just the menu. During a race it is pixelated. And it is just unneeded overhead for the OS/graphics to scale down the image game produces to the actually smaller resolution of the screen.

afaik, apple always try to render a bigger resolution for your app, so we always see app more beautiful with apple devices =)) maybe dev just let it as it is

It is not HiDPI. I checked scaled resolutions and the asphalt9 resolution is then adequately higher as well, but still not matching the screen resolution. When you check other games with Metal HUD you will see those always run in exact resolution of the screen. Higher res does not produce better image - just unnecessary processing to generate and then scale down the picture.

Oh, btw. when I mean "unplayable" it is not even the drop in frame rate or something like that. I can fire the game in 4k 60fps and all settings maxed on my M1 and it is quite smooth. The problem is that it processes the xbox bluetooth controller inputs with few seconds delay. The more I lower the graphic settings the better the controller response is. So I need to play 1080p 60 fps 60% scale minimal settings to make my xbox controller working. No clue how graphic performance is related to input processing...

Actually writting about this brought me to a conclusion to update firmware of the controller. I just did it and with a quick test on maxed graphic settings I can see there is no lag at least when the game starts. The lag appeared after a while, but I went crazy with maxing everything - I don't even have 60 fps anymore (rather 45-50). I will play later with 1080p scaled 2x (HiDPI) to 4K and some other options tuned to have constant 60 fps.

So, I fixed my issues with xbox pad delay and graphic settings. For anyone struggling with the same:

My setup:

• macbook pro M1
• external 4k (3840x2160) display
• xbox series x controller - BT connected

I run the game on screen resolution set to 1920x1080 HiDPI (4K effectively). I made custom bash script using displayplacer tool that changes the resolution of the screen, run Asphalt9 and then changes back the resolution when the game is closed. Below are the graphic settings in the game. Input lag is much much smaller and I literally feel the difference while driving.

Script is unique for your setup (display ID, screen positions, etc.) You can google the tool I used and I am pretty sure you will figure out those 3-5 lines by yourself.

Hi. Question regarding the showroom event for the Renault Dezir:

I ran the event 2 times. Before I had zero blueprints, after the first run I had the car on 3 stars (cant remember the number of bps) and I got 2 epics – one as "completion reward" in the last stage and one for completing all 450 conditions. So I ran the event a second time, but this time there were no "completion rewards". No 5x or 10x bps at the end of the stages, no epics, nothing. I only got a few bps from luck in the packs. Now – after the second run – my car is still on 3 stars and I am still 2 epics short (since the car needs 4).

I looked into the stages for a possible third run and voila – the "completion rewards" are back. Lots of bps, but only 1 epic and no 2nd epic for completing all 450 conditions. So if I played the event a third time, I could easily get the car to 4 stars (max) but not golden, because I'd be still one epic short. And then I couldn't run the event a fourth time, because I now have 124 of 128 bps and I possibly would have all the bps after the third run, even if I only played the stage with the epic.

How is this supposed to be?

@latent rivet On my setup (MacBook Air M2 connected with Sony Bravia 65X85L 4k 120fps TV , PS5 Dual Sense Controller-> USB-C connected), lagging was significantly reduced by updating the Dual Sense Controller's firmware.

Windows or a PlayStation 5 is needed for Firmware update. Guess we can improve that a bit more with the Method from @bitter tartan (thanks for sharing Mate 🙏🏼)

I finished the entire stage and received no reward. Rubbing salt in the wound in that you spend...er, waste...time trying to complete 50/50(!!) races for 1 BP and then no reward. I did put in a support ticket, but wish GL would wake up and add the ability to add attachments to the support page so that customers can illustrate what they are experiencing. SMH...

Thanks. But the game still seems broken. And it isn't a network issue either. Where it takes x amount of time to sync account data. Saw this same thing more than once. What happens is that when you start the Showcase again after completing Stage 1, you still see the reward for Stage 1 of the same car showcase. Then, after you play for a while (not immediately after starting Stage 1 again) the reward tile disappears. It looks to be arbitrary. I played a few times over the course of two days, then all of a sudden when I got a number of events completed, the reward tile disappeared. Plus, who at GL thought the Showcase was a good motivator for players! Seriously? You have to go through the same completed stage(s) again just to get to the next stage to try and complete? If it were maybe 10 races per stage then fine. But FIFTY for the first few?!?! And there are 22 stages for the Sian. That means you have to play Stage 1 22 times for no final reward (and terrible deck drops), stage 2 21 times for no reward, etc...!!! SMH

Asphalt9 has an something called delete profile inside the Options. You can click on this, AFAIK, it will take 28 days to process. I guess the steps are:

1. Submit the reset account
2. Reset game and run without sign-in account.
3. Wait until 30 days and link to Apple ID again.
   Note: I guess 😄

Just logout from Game Center,
Start the game as a fresh install without logging in to your Apple ID, It will give you a new game ID.
Then after you have access to the in game settings log in to your apple ID.
It will ask you to choose the account you want to keep. This is where you choose to keep the new one.

Hello, I need help , I am on a Mac Intel chip with Sonoma 14.2.1 , the game crashes just before the map loads in , and it crashes only on Nevada and Norway maps like full throttle career chapter two or festive sparks events. Anyone else facing the same problem or knows how to resolve this, I returned to asphalt 9 a week ago, before that I used to play on an older mac os version and probably an older asphalt 9 version as well. Please help me. 😭. The worst part is the fuel and event tickets are also gone after that. It took me a week to figure out why it was crashing, at first I thought the game was crashing randomly on random events. Even the season mission requires for us to have the Norway map. I can say its hard, but I made it. Important is not to crash during the race, use the air stunts to boost the speed,and the most important key moment is that final curve. Here have your shockwave ready and when someone incoming to you, just knock him down (shockwave use in final key point, when you stop curving). Of course, have it upgraded fully on 2 stars, if you have 2+ stars, even better. I have 2 stars out of 4 on this Ferrari car and fully upgraded. This is my advice until Gameloft fix it (if they fix it).

The new Ultimate Car Hunt is great except for the drop rate.
Completed around 40 races and got 1 blueprint. I think this ratio is too low and needs to be improved. Including the fact that we have to collect 300 blueprints.

Anyone else playing on a Mac (Mac Mini for me) having an issue with the game randomly going into pause when playing an event? Can happen once in a race, other times multiple pauses. This just started on Monday (3/18). Have been on the latest version since it was released. Either keyboard or controller play. MP does not exhibit this issue. Only the races you play on your own. Career, car hunt, daily events. I tried disabling BT to limit that possibility from other devices. Nothing changed. The game itself seems to have just randomly "broke" and not playing properly.

It's also happening to me on iMac. The game pauses during a race and the sound disappears for a few seconds (around 8 seconds) after I press "resume". During MP the game does not pause, however during an MP race the sound stops at least twice per race (as if the game "paused" but as it is not possible to pause during MP, only the sound is affected).

This issue started a few days ago, it's totally random, and to "fix" I restarted the computer. But then it happened again today. I've already restarted the machine in an attempt to temporarily "fix" it again.

Hello Asphalt fans and members I have been getting issues with Asphalt 9 : legends, After getting to know Asphalt 9 is not supportedto catalina anymore I updated my mac to MacOS Sonoma and downlaoded the game but after playing the first match into my progress which was running fine at very low graphics, but after I progressed to the second match and click play and as it loads the map for get game it just stuck over there progressing

I found out that after reinstalling I could play the second match in the progress which also work fine after reinstalling, but again when I progressed to third match it stuck on that map loading menu

Like DENNOM said, how old is your mac? I had a similar experience on a low-powered android. Could get through the first one but then lagged out on the second.

Yeah, exactly same model as my old MacBook.
I did have this same exactly issue late last year, and I later found out that Gameloft had updated their system requirements for playing the game.

If one of the requirements is not met then you'll have a terrible time running the game

@limber owl if ur mac has less than ~40gb space left it will run into SERIOUS performance issues because it doesn't have enough swap space. The solution is to use a disk cleaning utility

your mac will speed up like 5-10x once you do

@young dome some issue going on with mac, whenever im either trying to race in multiplayer, often times the message "cant connect to game server" pops up. I tried to restart game but i cant get in the game anymore because of this issue. Ive tried like 30+ times already, with different wifi, all working perfectly fine but i still cant get in game

when i get in game it works fine for a while but then game server issue in mp shows again

Naming two issues here..
1-Starting from this season: Claiming the multiplayer milestone packs displays the same animation twice, but the prize is registered once (which is normal)
2-Sometimes the keys have lost control on the car completely, aka no nitro and no turning. The mouse's working quite well actually. This bug was triggered twice in 24 hours. Restarting the device solves the issue but I fear it would come back again.
