I agree with Benny, I hate to say it. The Zagato was part of DS8 which switch missed but its doesn't mean if we had it all players would have unlocked it!! How many players unlocked the Sabre? 30%. You can't always unlock all the cars. We had an apollo evo event but not all players unlocked it etc etc

But designing new events almost exclusively around cars that switch only got one chance to get if we got any chance at all. Not to mention PS players who don't have any of these cars. Your designing events that exclude a group of players simply based on what platform they play on.

GL had months to catch switch up before unite, but we got no updates and extended seasons with no new content for 3 months.

Then when unite came, switch was delayed another month that could have been used to catch us up, but we got more season extensions and no new content.

There was plenty of opportunity for gl to right these wrongs, but now all we're told is too bad, should have switched platforms if we wanted the same opportunities other platforms got.

It's our fault gl is incompetent, and we pay for that incompetence with every new SE

GL should lock all cars for global players that were never released on switch until an equal opportunity for everyone to get them was available. Or better yet reset everyone's accounts to match PS.
How would global players react to that? How would that shoe feel on the other foot? I think there would be a lot more complaints, a lot more people leave the game, and a lot less income.
And switch would reply...."skill issue"

If Zagato single packs were released right now, would anyone here buy them? The car has never been released entirely for free. DS8 required buying the relays for tokens (or buying bundles), CZinger multipack obviously needed tokens, and now the Imola multipack for tokens. Buying the Imola packs is a much better use of your tokens (unless you really want that 1 epic which in that case is a good 30k+ tokens to get by maxing the Zagato)

Every global player should pick up a switch and drive a few laps, then you'll know what we're talking about. There are reasons why more and more players give up or switch to another console.
GL promised a lot and delivered almost nothing.
Look at the leaderboards, there are only a few switch players.

As regards the business strategy it’s been public knowledge for quite a while: there is no business strategy. At least there seems to be one set by folks that barely passed their business school exams. The business model has several big holes in it and measures taken have been short sighted. They could’ve done much more to create a win-win situation for them and the players but instead they seem to have fallen on desperate measures. The gaming industry is fierce and many studios have filed for bankruptcy. A9/ALU had a pretty big and loyal fan base but looking at what’s been going on the last 18 months it appears the owners, via senior management, have imposed strict revenue goals as only target. The players and the player base have been forgotten. In this business you first need to keep the player base happy since without their support you don’t have a game.

What I do know about stick vs d-pad then: every "flick" on the stick knocks your speed down, WAY more than on Switch A9. Only gradual stick movements can make up for that, which is really difficult on switch controllers. How much the d-pad gigs us I don't know, but I'm still behind the level I was on A9. I still don't know if that's a matter of technique or arises from the controller interface itself. It seemed like you were proposing the latter.

I didn’t believe it until I tried it myself. For me the difference is 0.5-1 Sec difference.
In Clash, all my times on PS5 are faster. I suppose its just the inferior hardware on Switch.

Nanjing stroll, Kita run, Moat finale and gold rush were moreso dominated by PC
Pearl of the orient however, was always a win for switch, every single time.
if the issue truly was switch steering, switch would never win a race against PC to begin with, i don't know what the issue is but with the fact that switch is able to clear pearl of the orient so well i have to assume the path of touchdrive is slightly different between platforms

Like Benny said, that is usualy an individual network issue. It happened to my switch when my network was too slow, because I downloaded something completely different on the pc. Pausing the download helped. Sometimes it also just happens out of nowhere. Rebooting the router can also help. Or try another network like a self-made hotspot over your smartphone.
The fact that you can download the game sadly doesn't prove that your network is stable. To download the game you must connect to nintendo servers. However to play the game you must connect to GameLoft servers. Completely different network routes. 🤷

Interesting to see how this will change the clash. Most top clubs kick members during matchmaking so they get to crush a smaller club for points. Now they will be forced to actually battle each other

Easy fix: only members that were part of the club when the clash began can take part in the clash. So if someone joins after the clash started he cannot take part in that clash.
I'd even go one step further and have a sign up period added to the clash in which club members have to actively sign up for taking part in the clash.
Members that didn't sign up are excluded from that clash and match making would only be based on the members that really are willing to take part.

If I may make a small suggestion for quick race, when we are in the Quick Race main menu, **can there be a shortcut button to reach "Custom Race"? **

Currently, it auto selects the last mission available and if you're using a controller, you have to scroll left ALL the missions to eventually reach "custom race" and if you have good progress here, that's 60 something missions to scroll.

So, IDK maybe pressing the "-" button automatically jumps you to custom race, that'd skip having to scroll all the way to the left to reach it.

Ok, so the bar is gone, but there's an info icon next to where it says Quick Race. Tilt the analog stick upper left and you can use that as a shortcut to get to custom race.

It's a makeshift workaround, but hopefully it helps.

It does that on your unit? I have come around it with a one time fix - choose the very first race from the landing page, let it run till the end and then it will always position itself on the first race. Then it’s only one quick left tap remaining to the race selection function and no more long scrolling.

2 minor but actually annoying issues.

1. In MP1 in the car selection, pls don't automatically choose an unlocked car. Players occasionally need to use a free to use car constantly.
   For example, I want to choose the free to try Valkyrie but the default car selection becomes the SF90 with a key every time after the race.

2. After races when choose to use a multipler ticket, pls let us exit from the sequence by pressing B button. The current setting is v misleading, especially the default setting flips from to "use the ticket" to not to use as go on.

No offense, but this "issue" of yours is a personal problem. Not a game problem. The mod (Benny) said it himself that there are ways of going faster, even on switch. And you're only harming yourself in the process for not actually taking in the information. Blue or known as perfect nitro is better used for corners and going over rough terrain. Meanwhile, orange nitro has better acceleration in comparison and is better used in the air and on the ground for accelerating. Also, shockwave is the best for air acceleration, proving that you're just wasting time here. Please, either get better at the game, or keep quiet.

I've used blue nitro because it only charges 25% of nitro and doesn't reach orange,And the other one has been charged 50%, and that's why I don't beat him by 1 second. but it still defends the Android players. 20% of switch players have abandoned the game.

As I'm a switch player, I'm going to post my message here.. just to say thank you for the communication about the major changes in the game.. in the past I found that it was very lacking and that often the messages arrived after the fact. I think that many of us also appreciated the roadmap presented on YouTube.. I hope that it could be more regular, it still gives a feeling that the community is listening and that things are being followed up.

For the last 24hrs+ I have been experiencing random issues with mp throwing a "no connection to game server" msg & an error 19-0. It’d be pure decency if we at least had the opportunity to get the last tokens (even by spending some real cash) considering that the decision to remove Clash came with such an extremely short notice.
