I have this problem all the time, I think it's Windows Store (which is garbage), or it's Windows Store conflicting with the games own update system. It usually downloads about 300-400mb and then stops, and clicking retry until it's finished, only for it give up after doing 8.7Gb and then starting all over again.

The only way I get around it and somehow seems to work is to uninstall the game, then connect to a VPN (I'm using NordVPN) and then download the game through the Windows Store, as it seems to download fully without issues that way, and then remember to turn your VPN off before launching the game.

There's no issues with my internet connection or my system, and from researching this from the last time the game updated there are quite a few other people who have the same issue, not just with ALU, but other games and apps through the Windows Store, as other storefronts, like Epic, GOG and Steam don't have these issues.

All the customization options are available; Normally you'll have to star up the car or playing multiplayer/events to make it available; Again a list of issues since the update also the issue of previous update regarding to the chat isn't fixed

It's a little different from the issues I had, but I would suggest uninstalling the game using Revo Uninstaller, so it can get rid of any residual installation files and registry entries. Then you can do a full clean install of the game again.

Echoing the above problem, Daily Events is stuck on 'Claim', probably because it counts 'Daily Event Pass Exclusive' as claimable without the pass, when that isn't the case.

Revo Uninstaller is an app that will uninstall applications, games etc, but it goes one step further by ensuring that all related files and folders, that usually get left behind by the applications own uninstaller get removed, it will also remove unneeded registry entries which are also left behind by the applications own uninstaller.
This ensures that all traces of it have been removed, so you can do a clean install to avoid corrupt files, or conflicts in registry files.

Other stuff on windows Store update normally without any interruption, I've tried recently, it's probably only this one app that's causing the issue but thank you for sharing the VPN solution, yesterday it took me more than an hour to get through that 300mb mark and from there on it started updating normally

If you uninstall using Revo, it will prompt you if you want to remove the registry entries, it will also save them as a back up in case anything goes wrong.
However, as you said it started fine the first time then crashed after a few minutes, there could be other issues not related to the install process.
In cases like this, I would suggest the usual steps, ensure that Windows is up to date, any drivers are up to date, run any malware/spyware/antivirus scans you can. May sound a bit obvious, but make sure that your system can handle the game. Also worth checking that any firewalls you have or antivirus software you have isn't blocking the game causing it to crash.

The problem is the nitro times in the Sonic Episodes don't add up from several races. They only show your nitro time from your last race. The distance ones work fine and add up from all your races. I got the distance ones NP but get nowhere with the nitro time requirements

Regarding the new game physics: this is NOT an improvement to the gameplay experience.

I play Asphalt Legends only because of Touch Drive and because the driving physics used to feel right.
If the game had launched with the current physics, I would have stopped playing immediately — and you would have had one less paying customer.

Windows Asphalt (both steam and ms store) both run very laggy compared to when the game was still Asphalt 9. I am running an i7 13700h and an rtx4060 laptop GPU. Medium settings run flawlessly but ultra settings now lags very badly.

No VPN will work with MS Store/Xbox version of game, if you want ot use a VPN you need to download/install Google Play Games beta for PC and add ALU to library, it will allow connections using a VPN.

You've not lost 1 fuel for every car, you've gained 1 slot of fuel for every car, most likely you've gone up a VIP level which unlocks a permanent extra fuel slot. They'll all auto-refill if you've been out of the game for 8 hours (side bar: I wish it was 6).

Same here lost coins on 1 star plethecore, maxed to level one.and lost 1 level on Hondai Vision now have to build again. even did 1 race in event (not worth it only 50k coins, 25 tokens) no BPs under 2 stars. and still need speed chips. Bugatti Mistrial event. Change the multipliers back, or remove the high multiplyers from MP and give back to career or daily events. hate getting 20X (only place seeing it) and only when in 7th or 8 th place for 20k. this 3X and 4x can't even build spare parts at 80- 180k. Thought my 18 hours of grinding were gone (this is not healthy) loss of sleep. 3 days to make level 1 from 0, thats just for unlocks, how much do we have to grind when having cars that need building with 3 -6 stars. how can we make it in time to do car riots after a hunt or make a level in a event. 3x and 4x should not even be there when having a garage level over 10 at some point those low multipliers have to be phased out where the cost of those with higher garages where the cost of building is more. (seriously even at 0 to 1 star parts can runover 100k never mind the indivual section levels) not like 1 back in day but 2-3 parts for each section plus rare parts on some.

Hello, the fuel consumed to attempt and find a multiplayer lobby gets returned to you once you queue up again, there's a problem with matchmaker not finding lobbies sometimes, the devs are aware of it, for now all you can do is restart game and try again, but the fuel always comes back after queueing up again, hope this helps

not sure if this is a windows version issue or across platforms, but why was the import part car changed? I spent time/effort getting the original car to at least 3 starts so I can finally try for the import part and now it's changed to car I don't even have yet. Is this a bug and the car needs to be set back to the Zenvo? I also noticed the same thing on the Egoista import part car as it used to be the Aventador J and now it's the Citroen? Again, very frustrating as I built up the Aventador for this part of the event.

I am not getting x8 and x12 mulitiplier because of 10% extra credit benefit from daily event pass makes the overall credit payout 6441 (without Pass 5871) which is above new capping i.e. 6250 (I think).

I intentionally came 2nd to check whether I will get the x8 or x12 multiplier. Surprise surprise.. I got the x8 and x12 mulitiplier. (Proof: First 5 races from 00:00 to 08:05 and next 5 races from 08:06 to 17:12)

I tried to connect with customer care and explain my case. I told them to remove my daily event pass benefits even if they don't refund the daily event pass charges.

The reply I got was from pethetic customer care even after providing the evidences (who didn't understand that 10% extra credit from DEP is making the credit reward above capping):

Thank you for explaining your concern in detail - I see where you’re coming from. Please understand that the Daily Events Bonus Pass does not affect the availability of the x8 and x12 credit ads in any way.
Those multipliers depend on other in-game factors and engagement metrics, not on whether you own the pass or not.
Removing your pass benefits would not change the ad multipliers either, as they are not linked.
I hope this clarifies things for you a bit better.

🛠️ Bug Detected in Asphalt Unite – Auto-Replenishing Friends
For weeks now, every time I reduce my friends list to 56 or less, the game automatically replenishes it to 99, without me adding anyone. This happens especially during MP2 matches, and profiles I deleted myself return.
I've tried several times, and the pattern always repeats itself. It's not a visual glitch: it's an automatic behavior of the system that prevents me from updating my social network, organizing my contacts, or making room for new real friends. I feel like the game is reviving my past list, ignoring my current actions.

... it's called the wildcard card exploit - a well-known issue for at least 2 years.
Those who take advantage of this exploit include:

1. Well-known players
2. Some content creators
3. Members of both well-known and lesser-known teams

It has now become widespread (for at least 7 months), and many players are maxing out all their cars for free, without needing to buy bundles from the in-game store and, as a result, without spending any money on the game.
I’ve been reporting this for 8 months. In fact, I created a 10-minute video showing exactly how the exploit works. I recently tested it again, and it still works flawlessly.
Despite all the reports I’ve submitted, no bans have been enforced, which I’ve been able to confirm myself. GL clearly has its favorites and either cannot detect who’s abusing this exploit or, worse, chooses not to take proper action to protect these players.
