THE FIX IS SIMPLE! IF ONLY THEY'LL READ. It's simple the game still uses too much GPU mhz while on the menu screen thus this keeps temperatures up. I don't know what keeps rendering at the menu screen to keep GPU mhz up like that. Also, the game settings was amped. Like max graphics is fine but medium doesn't give much. I used to play medium fine with water splashes and effects now it's gone in medium or default settings only available in max settings. Meanwhile max settings eats too much GPU and GPU mhz stays on top even on the menus thus keeping the phone hot. When wattage and GPU mhz drop heat drops. Schedule GPU frequency properly in menu. Make GPU usage in menu lower this will fix heating and lagging issues cus of thermal throttling.

I observe my GPU usage and cpu usage while gaming I know what I'm saying when it comes to the game rendering the graphics. In game menu shouldn't take too much watts or GPU clock. In game menu should maximum take 1.5 watts or less this will keep temperatures down after a hot race. And scheduling GPU and CPU mhz to keep temperatures down is very critical especially in mobile since most devices are passively cooled. Not actively cooled. This will bring the temps down enough to start a new race cool again. Thus making gameplay smooth. Secondly, default Graphics was where I used to play. It had most of the settings at max including the water drop effect, somehow after this update you guys amped the graphics requirements to max before these effects are rendered this means overall game requirements were amped which is bad. Optimize game to run perfectly on medium or default settings like it was last before this update and then you can introduce more effects in max settings. I WISH THE DEVS WILL READ THIS! I use an adreno 640gpu by the way with an 855+ CPU paired with 8gb ram and I know this is plenty fast for asphalt unite as you guys proved last update even before this fury update.

Multiple issues:

• multiple crashes off the game after last update
• increased connection issues in MP, even though my internet connection is stable, sometimes it disconnects before the race starts, sometimes after, sometimes it gives fuel back, sometimes it doesn't...
• My game started lagging only after last updates (maybe about a month ago), especially in MP, but sometimes also in other modes like TLE.
• My device also gets very hot recently I think since last update
• my game often restarts if I minimise it for a moment (maybe 15-30 seconds) this issue started after Alu update
• recently some ads got stuck and I had to force shut everything, losing the rewards
• during a time ads often didn't give the rewards they were supposed to (fortunately this seems mostly fixed)
• 0 rewards bug in team pursuit when playing as Security, that sometimes happens when a teammate disconnects. This has happened to me a lot, but I've given up complaining about it, because usually I just get unhelpful replies blaming my connection, whereas I know people who at least get token compensation when this happens to them.

Some issues that probably aren't android specific:

• barrelrollramps are broken again on beach landing track for TD in the events that use speed pads
• chat function in game not very user friendly. Still too much censoring that converts "congratulations" into "gratulations", "class" into "cl" etc
• elite A class event seems wrong with Imola instead of One-Eleven

Great. The reason ios gets great optimisation is their quality checks. Apple won't allow sub par apps on the app store. Thus devs are willing to go extra for iOS same isn't true for Android tho. iOS also being devs favorite since it has less devices to optimize and also iOS users are more willing to pay for apps and iaps. This is because of heat. The game can't maintain constant fps cus of temperatures. After this update. The game somehow uses too much GPU frequency or MHz at the menu. This keeps building heat. So by the time you get in an actual race, the device is already hot which shouldn't be the case. GPU usage should be lower in menus. This will keep temps down allowing for smoother gameplay since devices isn't yet able to reach it temperature limit for throttling to kick in.

Because the device reached it temperatures limit and it has to throttle down. After this update the game doesn't ramp down GPU frequency in the menu thus keeping the heat up even when not racing. This makes the phone reach thermal limit reach thermal limit so soon while in a race therefore the lag cus the phone has to throttle down to keep temps down and to avoid damage to components.

3. Issues: performance and unstable FPS: While this device is a fairly old flagship device from 2017, I never had problems regarding FPS and performance for A9. Even before the big overhaul from A9 to ALU. Or ALU before the last 2 patches. The patch before current one I can still have the game run on a stable 60 fps, with custom settings, all on Low. Be it there are lots of cars in the frame, or just myself. But after the update, my FPS drops drastically even when I'm alone in the track. There are no graphical glitches. Only performance issues.

I guess that's something with Gameloft's games. When you have their games installed from the store and then tried sideloading another game by them from outside it just fails. I know because I've tried. The only way to fix this is by removing every gameloft game you've installed from play store and then install the game that was previously blocked. I have recorded a private room race with that specific track, which is working 'better' than MP (with 8 players), so the issue is much worse sometimes up to the point where I can't steer properly because of the delay. And strange thing is, the lagging is worse when I don't record - so paradox.
Since the last update (initial one for the current season) all tracks are now at least lagging, some even stuttering. In tracks where I only had issues in certain sections, the lagging spreaded to other sections as well or even the whole track (depending if I am alone on the street). Even the menues now lag a bit.
Worst tracks are Paris, Osaka, Norway, Singapore.
Sometimes the phone can't handle it anymore - when there are a lot of other cars around and it gets 'crowded' (many KDs), the whole phone sometimes crashes, not just the game.

My graphics settings (set as default after update):
Visual quality: Default
Frame rate: 60 fps (not that it ever reaches this value)

Yeah, I tried using "performance" quality as well, but I have the feeling it makes it even worse and doesn't help my phone handle the game.
I never had any issues in Asphalt 9 - it was running perfectly and my phone was high end a few years ago.

Btw, I got the chance to see how the game runs on an Realme GT Neo 2 (12 GB, 128 GB) - absolutely smooth at highest settings. But crashing frequently without any reason.

I've noticed this one issue while playing on android,
When I play daily events, clash, and other gamemodes, the game runs smoothly without any heating issues. But when I start playing MP, the situation totally changes. The game starts lagging (due to overheating) after approx 5-6 races. One temporary solution for solving this that I'm using: pressing my palm flat against my top-half of my phone screen (to absorb the excess heat) during loading screens.
I'd like this issue to get fixed asap, or any other possible fixes. I've tried the lowest settings as well, still the heating issue persisted. Whereas, in the other gamemodes like clash, playing the game with the absolute max settings offered by my phone + screen recording doesn't overheat my phone, it just gets slightly warm but doesn't throttle (unlike in lowest settings + mp).

Average fps in Paris tracks is 38 fps to 48 fps. It never exceeded 50 fps for once . I've been highlighting this for ages but Gameloft seems to be just ignoring this map altogether. Please tell the devs to optimise Paris as other tracks like Rome or Himalayas.

Paris map around Eiffel tower is notorious for poor performance since Unite launched. Not much has been changed since then. In multiplayer with 8 cars or in slipstream it is getting even worse. Top flagship chipsets are having problems and I dont think this is acceptable state. There were no such fps drops on A9.

There are also spots on another maps where performance is subpar. For example main alley in Buenos Aires, or central part in Singapore, when jumping through waterfall, also in Singapore famous alley with fancy trees.

I lost multiple rewards due to a issue and its been over 4 days since I reported it.
Nobody at their support doesnt even care to respond!!!
