Race drops to ~15 fps, happened so far in 5 different races. Twice in Caribbean, 3x in Osaka. Phone feels quite hot and it never got this hot before the update so maybe it’s a throttling issue with processor somehow caused by the update? model is a 2 month old iPhone 12 which should be perfectly capable of running the game at 60fps.

Didn’t know the “heatwave” update would bring a heatwave to my phone as well.

Most players in our team are complaining in game chat of the same issues reported above- disconnects, serious lagging within and at the end of races & ads (especially the ticket ads) not playing. Hi Claudia. While I didn’t create a request it appears that in trying to do so, my account has been inadvertently transferred to Android. Unfortunately it was only an enquiry as I’m thinking of moving to android.

I have asked them to transfer it back but they say it’s one time only. The reason I enquiring is I transferred to iOS 2 years ago and was unsure if I could transfer back.

I’m in a right pickle now as I was upgrading my handset in a couple of months. I also bought the season pass which is now useless as the game does t work well on my old galaxy s8.

Hi, I'm having a problem that the game's start screen is taking too long to enter, almost an infinite loop, I'm sure it's not my internet as other games and videos run at 2160p without choking. A while ago the a9 simply corrupted something that caused me to lag and the game to crash as soon as I opened another app in the middle, like Spotify for example. Resolved uninstalling, but this already affects more people, about 3-4 have said the same thing what I said now...

Well said everyone! This update of A9 is the worst in history! My IPhone 12 gets very hot only after several races, screen dims and basically become unusable for A9! After exiting the game, the phone recovers very quickly, which suggests it’s the app!
I’ve also noticed an massive drop in battery life too. I could easily get 2.5 hours game play on a full charge, now I struggle to get to 1.5 hours.
There is also a massive lag issue! I’m sure you know about this too.
Please fix these ASAP because if the game wasn’t painful enough before the update, it sure has made this game terrible!

Asphalt 9 takes up a lot of battery since it’s a high quality game. Plus, half of the stuff you said were issues about YOUR phone. I understand asphalt 9 can do some crazy stuff your device but that’s a phone problem

My XR never heated up, battery was strong enough to play 2h MP.
Since electric season update the device heats up a lot after 2-3 MP races, battery lasts around 1h.
If I don’t open A9, device performance is same as before so it’s definitely an issue of A9

Before the update, I could do the same thing for like 3 hours no problem. Even running Genshin at the same frames. I do think it’s cause they keep optimizing the game too much nowadays since iOS 13 or higher is now required to work for the most part. So if they keep on updating like this, I highly doubt that this will get any better. Do take note that battery life drains as it gets older so your maximum capacity gets lower too

this is becoming too much. my phone (its an iphone 12 that I got 4 months ago) heats up to the point where it burns to the touch (without case on) after only 2 MP races and experiences severe frame drops. The iPhone 12 should not have these issues.
I'm not sure why this is happening but I'm considering quitting MP permanently. Or lowering my fps to 30 (which frankly hurts my eyes).

It’s a legend pass car, and hunt is again a limited for legend pass , so will make around 500/700 peoples for riot in iOS,. To make it golden you need 5 extra epic, the only way to get 5 epic on a riot it’s get 1% rewards and be extremely lucky (something like 5% possibilities) getting 3 extra epics, (impossible getting 4 epic in 10 pack from 5% rewards). So less than 10 people will get 5% chance to get it, so literally 0 or with luck only 1 paying player.
Ask 4 or maximum 5 epic, even that make a big limitation to get the requirement, but golden it’s just a big Fxxx even for those pay each legend pass to support the game!!!

It happens to any car and it happens in places I’d least expect them to happen. I think it’s not with cars having a specific type of handling model because if you see the two clips. Theres a turn in both Himalaya and Nevada where it wont allow me to do anything when at high speed, like the screen went dead and non responsive. This only with tap to steer control.

I have an overheating issue. When I play for more than 15 minutes, my phone (iPhone 11 base modell, 64GB, with case) gets really warm and it starts thermal throttling (I get fps drops or constantly low fps). It has been an issue a while back but since the last update the problem is back. Please fix it again.

Also the sound of the police cars is weird, sometimes the sound when you finish a race is missing and the air sound sometimes doesn’t go away when I land on the ground. Engine sounds tend to sometimes increase and decrease from the noise level between races.

Approximately 5 months ago we started receiving reports of frame rate drops /lag issues- especially affecting (but not restricted to ) MP1. Having only received 28,323 such reports over that time we have deemed it an insignificant game play issue and advise you to suck it up. (BTW, check out our new decals. Much programming time has been spent choosing the “go fast colours”).

Chiron has had this issue and I was hoping that the update would fix such problems. I know I had separate incident later that was quite similar to this with my SSC but in both cases, the cars reacted the same way

I mean on those tracks there are spots where wallriding leads to a crash.
Most of the times even if the car is driving flat on the ground, when riding the wall the tire climbs up and you end up driving on the door (I hate those scratches on the mirrors and doors…)

Hi hi, iOS devices are getting hot while playing the game. I’m using the 2020 iPhone SE to play and the heat it was emitting (it was resolved in the previous update) was distracting me because of how hot my phone is and that the screen will dim. Also, the performance capability of the iPhone SE is greatly reduced.

I believe Asphalt 9 is a game that was featured in the iPhone SE 2020 advertisement. Please resolve this issue as I love this game a lot.
