yes, while controller is more popular, players do use KBM if they prefer

the current WR in any heat, lili with a 5:57, is by KBM

bright01 also uses kbm and has a few sub 7s, as well as sub 8 on every weapon

FO has a much steeper learning curve than the other pacts, I think.

It cleans up low HP enemies without having to waste a shot. Every shot takes like a second, you want to clear rooms in as few shots as possible. If your shot is doing 200 damage and an enemy has 50 hp left, most of that shot is wasted. A level 2 common tidal dash could clean that up easily

This is especially true in Tartarus, since every unarmored enemy will die in one hit to your shot without an attack boon, and you dash will one hit a lot of the smaller ones, or help strip armor

The most important thing in speedrunning, especially in rougelites, comes before the run itself - you want to plan your run as much as possible, think of what you would do in different situations. In particular, do not play with plume but instead try to force the gods you want, set up your mirror and heat (fo2 and em2 boxofstuff suggested) etc

I took Routine Inspection (at level 2) as well for my first 32 heat clear. Used Arthur also. Similar thinking I guess, Arthur doesn’t need a full mirror to be able to handle 32 heat. Congratulations sir!

yeah if your pact gets you to the clear, there's nothing wrong with it

if you can't play fast enough to feel comfortable with TD, and have an aversion to HL/LC/FO, then that's sort of what you end up with

i was at nine minutes when finishing asphodel then it just all went downhill. forgot i had damage control and wasted my meg doll on the champions. got 5 sacked. some things aren't meant to be.

you should take those heat mods off and put extreme measures and jury summons, if you dont want to put jury summons on then you should try hard labor or lasting consequences
