ik i'm the third person to respond, but if you need more titan blood then you could trade some of it away for that.
i remember someone saying that you need a minimum 12 for late game stuff involving ambrosia. if you want, you can trade 5 away for titan blood

I guess best channel to ask away is here. Got 2 things I don't quite understand about damage modifiers. 1) Artemis dash juicing up your dash strike, how does that work with the bow? Does it just stack with your attack boon?
And 2) When you have a secondary damage source on a core slot, say Zeus on attack, your base attack damage does not increase, right? In this case, if you get an outside buff to your attack (jerky, chaos etc) do your lightnings get juiced as well? Or do they just affect the attack?
Oh and also (spoilers for ending!): ||Can Eurydice hit Rare Crop? And if yes, what happens if she does?||

with normal units whenever you dash strike with the sword it knocks them back and stuns them a bit leaving an opening but you dont get that with armored units

i’m not sure how to exactly describe it, but you get 3 random boons from a god (you get boons randomly from chambers) and you get to choose one out of the three

Game will ofer all the gods available till you pick up boons from 4 different gods, then those get locked (called god pool normally) Hermes and Chaos excluded as they work different
You can force one to appear through their keepsake
And some odd cases allows for god pools higher than 4 (where they just get added instead of deleting oldest)
Selling all boons from a god doesnt delete them from your pool

yes, you have to give them a bunch of nectar first
however, you wont be able to give them ambrosia right away since the heart is locked
you have to do other things for them or something that prompts a certain dialogue then you can give them ambrosia i believe

you can only select boons from 4 gods at a single run. so if you have zeus, poseidon, athena and ares, you cant get boons from any other gods but just these 4 and visa versa

its random but if you equip the gift the god gave you before entering the run, you get it guranteed almost all the time. lets say you took the owl keepsake from athena, if the first thing in the run is a boon then its athena guranteed

Playing on PC, but I don't have a controller
I find that with spear dash attack the hitbox is really nice, but with sword it feels to narrow and I often find myself missing my target

Because that's what the devs thought was better idk. Most competitive Hades players play on pad, but some of the very best play on KBM. Ultimately it's whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Once you have boons from 4 different gods not counting Hermes, other gods stop showing up. If you want specific Poseidon boons for Styx, you'll need to pick him up earlier in the run and not wait until Styx

Your dashes are 100% iframes, however the moment you dash-strike you lose all of those iframes, so whenever you want to avoid attacks you want to make sure you're empty dashing aka no dash striking
Aside from that learn the movesets and familiarize yourself with the enemy patterns, don't be afraid to wait and bait out attacks, and also try to learn where your openings are
Sometimes trying to deal damage at every opportunity can be risky

The 5 hits mean a lot, especially on some fights where the bosses hit like a truck
For many people, getting hit also messes up your rythm and tilts you somewhat. The 5 hits give you a chance to ease into a boss and remember the patterns and attack telegraphs, while the "good start" makes you feel more confident and makes the boss fight overall seem to go better

Spearpoint isn't useful during the third and fourth boss fights except for one attack from boss 4, but once you know the tactics to evade the attack it's the easiest to handle in the fight.

Bad starts to boss fights feel like such a letdown and it's like you're doomed to fail afterward. Acorn also helps me not waste death defiances on close/bad fights hydra and Theseus, and ||is so nice on hades esp if you don't have any Aphrodite boons to weaken him||

Personally I found getting a lot of +max health and as many boons as possible helped early on.
Upgrading the mirror asap helps a lot, especially once you get Dark Foresight, which seems a bit OP early on.

It can vary a little bit, I don't think there's 1 answer to it but usually I find Alecto to be the most annoying due to the chip damage that you can take from the saw blades and sometimes the traps, overall just feels like there's more to pay attention to compared to the other 2 furies, Tis can be a bit tricky in the smaller arenas but effective use of empty dashes makes you avoid her attacks very easily since I find them slow and very telegraphed

because i usually dont use them and they seem pointless since i deal more damage with weapon

there's a mirror upgrade that lets you deal more damage to enemies with a cast lodged inside them
generally not too useful on smaller enemies, but on bosses it's pretty nice
also, base 50 damage is pretty good in the early parts in the run
not to mention there are some good cast boons

tbh I have found casting is really great since I prefer to use long distance attacks
like for me it reduces damage cause I dodge a fair bit honestly

Casts are always nice for bonus damage and depending on the god the gimmick can be good
Styx trouble could be partially solved with Poseidon cast for instance

||might be better to learn the other weapons and clear those as well because titan blood is extremely valuable and each win gives you two. If you decide to crank up the heat tho, you'll get rewards for each heat level so it'll be more or less the same thing||

any tips for surviving temple of styx? I don't care how minor the tips are, I've had enough of theseus, i just wanna reach the surface and 3/5 times i die on styx and hate it

poseidon's flare or dash is good if you get breaking wave
breaking wave isn't necessary but extremely helpful
breaking wave causes enemies slammed into walls to take a ton more damage, and styx is very small

honestly id just say do whats easiest for you
you get more resources faster that way and you can always experiment later
if you want to try out other weapons though, then go right ahead

id recommend stick with a weapon u like, and move on when u csnt take the heat anymore.. i think maxing out one weapon at a time is probably the smarter move compared to mixing it up and spreading it out
