Darker thirst (more gems is fun) > Nectar vintage (poms are much better than a room reroll or 5 hp) > Darkness pitch black (5 hp is still something) > Chthonic keys fated (room rerolls arent good at all, so wait until you get boon rerolls from the mirror) > Gemstones brilliant (20 coins isnt much, you want to avoid gem rooms whenever possible anyways)

Nectar can be great if you get it as a second chamber, but it's not that useful IMO. Since you don't control what boon it levels, so you might get it later in a run and it may fall in an useless boon or one that has several levels already 😔

sadly the 4 poms dont stack

so if you only have 2 pomable boons, you only get +1 on each, and the other 2 are wasted

so that option is only optimal when you have 4+ pommable boons that are also worth pomming.

practically, its fine if you have 3 or so boons that all contribute equally to your run, like a call, zeus attack, and jolted

as for the other 2, take more rarity on boons you have if you already have your main dps boon. usually something like attack+, jolted, doom, or hangover.

take rarity on upcoming boons if you dont

usually the best option is pretty clear once you have an idea of what boons are central to making a build, and how many of them you already have.

if you dont though, higher rarity on upcoming boons is the all around best choice

since not only is it 3 instead of 2 boons, instead of being chosen randomly youll get to choose the best out of 3 options for each.

Early game: good. No use for ambrosia, and 500 darkness can mean the next DD
Midgame: not as good, need ambrosia for bonds, ||companions||, and trading a few for blood
Late/endgame: good, ran out of uses for ambrosia, useful to get the next reroll rank

The 'rare' fish are Knuckleheads, Chrustaceans, Charp, Scuffers, Projelly and Bass

Check which one you're missing and you could guess where you haven't fished yet

take the miniboss rooms rather than the normal rooms

since 1 tough enemy is easier than a whole room of traps and spam

pay attention to where the poison cleansers are as soon as you enter the room so you can dash to them right after getting poisoned

for the snake lazers, either rush them down quick, or hide behind something

rats dont stand in front of them ever, stick to sides and behind, and all they can do is shake poison on you

the main source of poison is dudes that throw these darts at you, those are the hardest enemy but their darts come at a very predictable pace

avoid traps even if it means getting hit by an enemy. if you dodge into a trap, it wouldve been better to not dodge at all

leave max HP+ rooms until 2nd or 3rd, dont take them first. the sack is pretty much 50/50 to be in the 2nd or 3rd room

that way youre more likely to get the health right before the final boss and not lose it in styx

if youre already at full health, then taking the max hp keeps you at max, so i generally try to leave the max hp for last so i can benefit more from flat healing

but since the fountain restores more if you have more max HP anyways, it probably doesnt matter, so youd want it earlier to save DD yeah

Better builds can help you, but you could have the worst build and still win, if that makes sense. Most important thing is to just practice more and figure out how to evade enemy attacks and stuff.

Getting to Elysium in only 8 runs is decent progress. Keep at it!

Question about ||the pact of punishment: do i have to do heat levels gradually (fill the bar and clear each time) or are they cumulative, like cranking the heat level up to 6 for example from 1 and get x6 times the rewards||

hey..any tips on combat with chiron bow(level 2)? i find the bow very hard to play and position its the only weapon i can`t get past the first boss with,i feel like i am stationary too long,..but had no problem to get to styx or even to hades with some other weapons like sword and fist and also got to elysium with spear an shield.

Chiron bow is really op, but you need to just get used to it. The bow was the only weapon I did not like and it took me a dozen escape attempts to not suck at itXD What helped me the most was taking Flurry Shot from Daedalus. Not having to charge the attack was really helpful and after a few attempts with Flurry Shot I was already kinda better with the whole charging thing and started using different Daedalus enchantments

I heard something about saving 10 diamonds for Story contracts, IDK what that means but I want to buy these things, should I not go under 10 diamonds?

argh I can't paste: Gemstones, nectar, keys, darkness etc. that gives stuff, 2-3 diamonds each

Flurry Shot is mighty fine, but if you’re having difficulty using the bow attack, a tip is to always dash strike with it. That would shorten the charge time for the attack

Also, go for Relentless Volley, more special shots is always good.

So for the first time you beat a boss it will drop their bounty (titan blood, diamond, ambrosia) but if you beat them again with that same weapon you only get darkness
||By adding a point of heat, you can get those rewards again with the weapon you escaped||

tartarus is sisyphus (gives either darkness, heal or money)
eurydice in aspho (choose beetween +1 rarity to 2 random boons, +1 levels to 4 random boons, or upgraded rarity for the 3 next boons you pick)

and patroclus (elysium, choose beetween restore all DD/Sd recovers +50% health, recover 30% hp each room for 5 rooms, attack+60%)
