Try to learn and pick up on cues for when you need to switch gears from dash attacking and doing damage, to purely dashing to evade which will save you lots of health

Athena also has two DD refills available. You can get a fourth from Chaos as well.

Note that when the skulls get stuck in you - the "Boiling Blood" effect - he will deal significantly increased damage. If one of them does stick to you, try to avoid damage more than you usually would. Also, if you hold out your Shield, the circular attacks won't hit you if he's in front of the shield.

I have atleast 1 daedelus hammer upgrade left for bow I need to get for prophecy (I could have more)
I have exactly 1 artemis upgrade left I need to get for that prophecy, and I am capable of getting it rn (I have all the reqs)
I have piercing volley (for daedelus to increase chances)
I have deadly strike, hunting blades, and pressure points from artemis (to increase chances of what I want since I can't get those now)
I have adamant arrowhead and this artemis is because of it, so if I don't choose artemis my next boon will still be artemis
my next chamber (the one that could be hammer or artemis reward) is chamber 27

There aren't any ways to give the stationary shield block deflect, however the bull rush can gain deflect with Divine Strike.
Regarding the first boss (any of them), you can deflect her projectiles.

There have been people making dash-only builds and showing off in the victory boasting section. I guess one can spam Divine Dash and give everything in the game the death of a thousand cuts if really patient and not caring for buttons and sinews.

It's still a matter of skill, as there is a short recovery period between dash sequences that leaves you vulnerable. But with Greatest Reflex on top, that becomes a far smaller issue.

I go for divine dash because I think it might be better for attack/special to gain other boons

since divine dash's primary use is its deflect, which doesn't get upgraded with a pom, the pom is usually best put on another boon imo

Reflect is such a powerful mechanic on its own
The damage is really just a cherry on top you barely care about at that point
