what are some good builds to get my first win? i have around 12 hours in the game, have gotten to final boss 4 times, but i usually use all my death diefiances on theseus and the minotaur so im only able to get final boss to around 50% HP before dying. I like to be more ranged, so i dont really like the gauntlets or the sword, but im ok with the shield. I have one titan blood invested into every weapon.

it's not necessarily about what experienced hades players think is obvious, it's genuinely sad to see how more and more players go through wikis, reddits, this server, INSTEAD of trying while playing the game.
i understand things like "whats the best build", it's an open theme to discuss about. even if i personally wouldve loved the feeling of experimenting with boons and builds in the beginning more than just asking whats the best and move on with that knowledge.
but when people come in here with questions about "whats a boon, whats that portal" "should i chose that should i instead do this(for example for the ||romance||)" it feels like they arent playing the game since you learn mostly everything in it? like they arent playing the game for the experience but to only make the right choices which hades really isnt about?
i havent ever played a roguelike/lite and immediately knew what to look forward to and what to use? even still now i am training for fresh file speedruns and see the tutorial every single day and cant say it necessarily lacks? (sure the laurel color and danger meter went over my head in the beginning but you learn those things later on)
also i feel bad for when i see a question that should be answered with "you will find out, just keep playing" that other players just go and spoiler them with all the knowledge? idk i just feel bad for the experience of newcomers

nope. Was facing directly towards him and even the stab attack counted as being hit from behind

yeah if you have aphro attack with dio special you get the 40% damage bonus from priviledged status which means not only does your attack do about 100-200 damage to the enemies but you also get free dio damage every single second (i think up to 100 damage every second but i aint so sure about that)
