Start with Zeus, take his Attack, look for Poseidon's Dash for damage or Athena's Dash for safety afterwards, more Zeus is always good (Static Discharge, Call, Double strike, splitting) and maybe put something on your Special incase you get good hammers like Rocket Cluster

They are both fine options, Divine Strike unlocks DD refills from Athena which is handy, if you have a Call then Heartbreak strike can unlock Smoldering Air maybe, Deflecting is good and Weak is good so it’s just up to you to pick

nothing's really wrong with them, but each individual strike is low base damage and it requires you to get extremely close to each enemy i.e. not a whole lot of ways to deal "group damage." can be challenging for new players + those that prefer a ranged moveset

Yeah, with Piercing you definitely wanna make sure you have some distance. Can make it a bit annoying to use until you have some practice with it.
But then it's very nice for especially Greatshields and Theseus.
Sucks in Satyr tunnels, though, but Chiron generally just has issues there. Hence why speedrun strat is to just get Tidal Dash or Flood Shot to clear Satyr tunnels with that + Breaking Wave.

Epic Frost Flourish is very nice, main issues are her damage only really scales with Privileged Status and her own t2 boons and legendary. And her t2 boons and legendary can't be pommed, so you're stuck with whatever rarity you get... Unless you get Rare Crop, but that's another of her own boons.
If you're not worried about early damage too much, your best bet is taking whatever her highest rarity t2 boon is at any time to hopefully get 2-3 at high rarity in your run.
Also high rarity Ravenous Will.
And definitely get something for Privileged Status on your Attack asap.

on the third wave try to finish up near where you want to go next
eg usually fight from entrance to exit but you might also wanna end near a well or such
also some waves are capped and continue spawning as you clear small enemies in that wave, so try to take out big bunches of enemies to increase rate of spawning as much as you can

If you need to make a decision like what exit to choose, you can just pause the game to pause the timer.

always take free rooms like the mid shop or story rooms and chaos gates
even with jury summons and calisthetic program those little things go a long way with the timer

There's virtually no point in that combination. True Shot is single-target homing but Hera's Attack already takes care of delivering the Cast to the target. And at that point, a single-target Cast just hits way fewer enemies than any Cast with AOE. The average damage even when factoring in crits is also pretty low.
Crush Shot is generally considered the strongest Cast for Hera. AOE, high base damage, excellent pom scaling.
