damn made 3 try on 32 heats, im getting closer but not yet ! The 2 firsts i lost because of time in elisyum and the last died against dad start of his 2nd phase. Its doable but if not all the stars are aligned their is still something to stop me ^^
next tries i'll do them with a weapon i know more. Never rly played Rama before those 32 heats runs ^^

It gives you movement speed and global damage for 2 seconds
And makes enemies repeat their last move

Hades can darkness in the first phase which wastes time, if you time your call well you can get him to delay that just enough for you to phase him
It’s not something you do often but it’s pretty good when it goes right, the global damage and mvt speed is kind of the big deal

hoarding is a solid option as a fun meme build. matters way more on not-excalibur, and you'd likely end up stronger just spending the money, but it is a satisfying meme run to do once or twice

damn, another close try with Rama for that 32 heat. Fists were so easier for me. But im using another strat that seems better (thanks Tailesque ^^), i removed DC, switched to fiery presence , and dash striking on ennemies make tons of dmgs with arte attack. As im now better to hit my power shots, it works well

||im attempting to get to the unseen one rank in hades any tips on getting more darkness i do no heat runs (so i can get darkness each boss), i try to get both chaos eclipse boons but normally get one and i get ocean bounty each time i can tho its not a lot and once i get all 3 i normally get around 2000 darkness but i kinda need more if each one is now 5,000 and above||

It's gonna be a long grind if you're just grinding for Darkness. It's not really designed as something you grind for specifically but more a resource sink for players with hundreds of hours in the game.

Not sure why you said "both" Eclipse boons btw. You can get more than two even.
But pretty much just the strategy you've been doing would be the best way to farm Darkness.
Also just general speedrun strats to clear faster, I suppose.

I would say yes, but a couple things - you can carry progress between Switch and PC if you have it on Steam or Epic (not Game Pass/MS Store/any other console). Also, I would strongly recommend not using the built-in joy cons in handheld mode on the Switch. At the very least, get a Hori Split Pad Pro or a grip like the Satisfye
Without a grip, the Switch is really uncomfortable to play for long sessions. Especially on fast-paced games like Hades. The performance is mostly good but it occasionally chugs especially on chaotic fights like witches circle or anything high heat

I think the Steam Deck would be the perfect Hades device. Bigger screen than the Switch, faster so less slowdown, bigger and more comfortable grips. Just a matter of actually getting one

breaking it up into chunks to learn new pacts and like, stretching before you go for the big power lift
will go a LONG way
like i did a bunch of LC4 TD3 10 heat for example
just to get used to two scary pacts (the rest of it being vanilla)
and you also need to have EM3 tight, which if you're at 16...50/50 chance you're there, but 32 heat typically means beating theseus and minotaur with stubborn defiance and either higher speed or enemy damage
i'd recommend a few runs of: EM3 LC4 TD3 (16) then 4 worth of flex (UC BP1, DC2 UC on Eris, mess with it, the idea is to start with the core of 16 there and ramp it up a bit)
you can go to high heat for more details and other people who are sweaty tryhards like me but better at the game

for people going for their 32 heat clear, I highly recommend doing several runs where you turn on forced overtime 2, extreme measures 3, benefit package 2, and middle management, but practice each of those pacts in isolated, separate runs
as in do a couple runs where the only pact you turn on is FO2
then do several runs where the only pact you turn on is EM3 etc
once you get comfortable with each of those pacts in isolated runs, slowly start combining them
and once you get comfortable with that start trying for clear times under 30 mins, then 25 minutes, then 20 minutes
if you reach this point, you're almost guaranteed to be good enough to do your actual 32 heat run

It's not that bad. Also, the strat for CF2 if you're not concerned about the timer is to skip shops for gold laurel rewards when you can. You get a lot more value from that.
You'll get forced into plenty of shops where you can spend your money anyway.

Yeah, it's mainly just for things like that. Or if you're doing like what's high heat for you or something where you're just looking for any edge to help you win.
But usually the shop doesn't really matter too much.
Somewhat related to that, I think only doing normal runs or only IGT kind of leads people to overanalyze decisions because you have so much time to make one, so you want to make sure it's optimal... but practicing RTA helps you plan ahead and also helps you recognize those situations where it really doesn't matter what you pick.
Like an obvious example is you have plenty of money, you're in Styx tunnel, and you know you're not not going to the shop. You see a Well, you check it, and try to figure out which ones to buy.
The answer is just buy everything, no need to think or even read the options.

I'm personally awful at Malphon, but I can give shield tips
For starters
Minotaur Rush, in my opinion, is one of the best, if not the best shield upgrade
Just mash it on bosses for pretty large amounts of damage

I love Malphon, Long-knukkles is amazing at the beginning

Pulverizing Strike (I think that was the name), can also work quite well for general DPS

So it works really well with Tempest Flourish, since each hit drops lightning, for high DPS totals overall

Probably also has good enough uses with Drunken Flourish, but I don't know if it deals any higher damage than just yeeting people with lightning

And lightning aspect allows for Jolted which is just always awesome
If you get Zeus boons, going for Jolted is often a pretty good idea
Bosses attack pretty much all the time, so it allows you to deal an extra hundred or so damage after each attack so long as you keep applying lightning
