That doesn't surprise me. If I were coding this then I would make beating Dad change the state of the game fundamentally because all combat has ceased and the win has been recorded.
Otherwise you could get into a state where you have won at a heat level but not collected all rewards.
And that would lock you out of collecting all possible Titan blood.

They do also drop off at some point, but you have to be very far away from them before that happens, so I don't recommend running from them unless you're already very very far where you can basically just ignore it.

He doesn’t have many moves and there is a lot of downtime, but he hits like a truck. Stay away when he does his double oar swipe, try not to get summed by his shockwave, and watch when he calls the shade orbs to come from behind/all directions to have dashes to go through them (especially stay away since that overlaps with oar swipes)
Also I just got a 12:03 with a Tartarus ME and am very upset that I didn’t get the Hermes clear message by 3 seconds
