Thanatos companion might sound like a good idea bc it's the highest dmg

Try to Know and recognise all the combat moves of enemies to avoid them, get a lot of boons that fits your playstyle and get weapons that you think you'll have the most fun with

It's actually worth it because you'll run out of use for Titan Blood before you run out of use for Gemstones. But since you'll have a difficult time getting more Titan Blood when you're new, and the Gemstone use is like 99% only cosmetic, you're usually better off saving it.
But if you ever do a second playthrough when you're a lot more experienced, it's actually a good idea to take those trades from the start to get to 100% faster.

You'll want to mainly use Dash-Strike Power Shots.
Your Attack charges faster if you hold Attack right after a Dash.
And now it'll also get the bonus from Hunter Dash, which makes it more powerful than your regular Attack.
Try looking for plenty of Chaos Gates to get more Attack and Dash-Strike damage from them.
And also for Hunter's Mark from Lady Artemis.
Other than that, just mainly Centaur Hearts to help you with HP and maybe a couple of poms when you get Hunter's Mark to upgrade that a little.
Also just general things like hammers and Lord Hermes boons.
Speaking of Lord Hermes, Swift Strike seems like it would be great on bow, but it doesn't affect Dash-Strikes at all, so you can just ignore it and get something better.
Hyper Sprint and Greatest Reflex are great.

Yeah, with stacked buffs it's quite possible to get 1000 darkness just for Hades and maybe 2.5k in a run (my best is 1162 for Hades and over 3k total).
