you could try Phalanx shot and get the duo with Afrodite that gives you bonus backstab damage

that's hard to set up but so stupidly good when you do.

or not bonus bs damage but any bonus you have for bs gets put onto the cast.

also as a blind person I almost always go stigeon because it can be hard to find the casts to pick them up. Trust me having to factor the extra stones I wanna pick up into the equation between finding the right boons is painful.

Ugg, back to Rama for me. I was trying Beowulf and the game just hated me. That or I was too picky in the boons I wanted.

Thunder Flourish is crazy good on Rama. That's a speedrun start because the damage is so good and the potential so high. You wouldn't start with Curse of Pain or Drunken Flourish for a Rama speedrun.

if you get the hammer that increases the amount of arrows you shoot with your special, then dio can be a nice pick as you can add the boon where they poison each other and increased damage if three or more foes suffer hangover.

If you're on pad, you'll want to rebind your Reload to, most commonly, LB/L1. And then, you don't really want to think of Attack and Reload as two separate inputs. A lot of players when I watch them do Attack > hit the target > Reload. It's just a natural intuition to look for visual confirmation that the attack triggered before you hit Reload. But that's not what you want to do. Instead, whenever you press Attack, you immediately press Reload.

Also for Hestia during reloads when the bar goes up... normally for things like this, you can press Attack a little bit before the reload bar is finished, and it will buffer your input, and then the attack will come out immediately when the reload is finished. That gives your inputs some leniency.

But the Rail doesn't buffer your inputs during reloads at all. So if you press Attack too early, it just won't come out. That means you need to be very careful and rather wait a tiny bit longer to press Attack to ensure your Attack actually comes out. Otherwise, what will happen, and what happens to a lot of players, is that you Reload > no Attack comes out > Reload again > no Attack again > Reload again > etc. because you missed your timing a few times and pressed Attack too early. That even still happens to experienced Hestia mains.

the game is technically finished when Persephone returns yes, but it's not truly finished until you get the true ending, which is why it's called the true ending
