It’s super annoying, and doesn’t add any actual challenge. It just make the player spam dash for like 6+ seconds until he decides to let you go back to playing the game

I played on Nintendo Switch. My problem was that I couldn't trigger two of the game's quests:
||Orpheus - Reunite him with Eurydice
Achilles - Reunite him with Patroclus ||
I heard characters speak about the quest during dialogues. I was about 105 escape attempts in and still no luck. This weekend I decided to buy Hades on Steam. I synchronised the save files with Steam. About 3-5 attempts on PC and I both triggered AND completed both quest. I know this might be coincidental but it's really really weird that I got it so fast on PC and couldn't get it on Nintendo Switch.

My suggestion:
Tartarus: Take a god keepsake that will give you the best boon for your primary attack/special (for Rama that’s Aphrodite, for Eris that’s Zeus, for Chiron it’s Artemis. If you don’t know, I’ll be happy to help you figure this out)
Asphodel: If you have a secondary god that you really want (such as Aphrodite for a heart Rend build or Artemis for hunting blades) then take that God’s keepsake. Otherwise, go with Athena’s keepsake, because Divine Dash is very good for defense, and she can also give you extra DDs if you remember to lose your stubborn defiance in that room
Elysium and Styx: Acorn. EM3 is hard, Hades is hard

Why? It’s much better to get a primary attack boon, so start with a specific god. And don’t run AP1/2 btw. AP is a really really hard pact, and I’d always avoid it below 42 heat

Also, do not be afraid of LC4 and Stubborn Defiance. It’s actually not that bad I promise

Not combo as in smash combo, combo as in hit 1 is a specific attack, then hit 2 is a different specific attack that only triggers if you press attack right after hit 1

I instinctively fall into the habit of constantly spamming dash and attack and hitting nothing 90% of the time

Arthur being slow prevents me from doing that

well with arthur you generally dash during the second and third sweeps anyways which cuts down on the time youre stuck charging

I really enjoy Meg, and I’m not sure how to make a companion that is as good, so that people would use them both equally for different purposes. But I still wish there were situations where Meg potentially wasn’t optimal, other than like a max gold run

And I take Infernal Gates in Elysium just as much as anywhere else.

Those can be very tough with BP2 FO2 etc.

Erebus rewards are great.

Neither do I. One Meg for Asphodel miniboss (great for power couple because it can easily hit both and it gets rid of the wave as it appears, helpful for giant voidstone, and can help with witches although sometimes I don’t Meg witches), one Meg for Elysium bossfight (Obviously wantone for Asterius, I think it’s great to have for Soul Catcher), one Meg for Champions (5K damage ), one Meg for the first Styx miniboss, and one Meg for Hades. Although tbf I do often end up with an extra Meg because I don’t need it for some Styx minibosses and I don’t always use it for witches.

Learning to Meg for MM power couple has made that miniboss no longer a problem when it used to be very intimidating

I enter every Infernal Gate and haven't taken off EM4 in awhile.

EM4 makes Erebus even more valuable because you need to get the best build you can for the fight.

Right but at like 50+ heat with TD3, JS3, and CP2, you probably can’t afford to take Erebus gates. And most people suggest not taking EM4 below 50ish
