If you’re running out of ammo, dash away, hit reload, shoot off a missile. The ideal way is to minimize your downtime - use that reload time and something else in parallel (dashing away, shooting a missile mostly). Also very helpful to remap reload into left stick click or left bumper on controller. Does that help any @merry bane it’ll take practice but that might get ya started

Maybe give Hestia a go? It’s definitely over correcting, but I think it’ll help you build some good habits so you can shred with Eris
And make sure reload is remapped to a more comfortable button - if you’re on controller, right thumb shouldn’t leave the buttons, reaching for the stick to reload will throw you off

Yes. I’m specifically talking about Zag rail tbh, that’s how this conversation started. Zag rail is really bad without Spread fire, especially compared to the other aspects, and I believe that the extra ammo is (excluding spread fire) at most as good as a 2% damage increase.

The only thing is that chill is kinda weak on its own, at least compared to Aphrodite’s extra damage and weak or Artemis or Zeus
So it’s hard to find a good place for a chill build
The best place I’ve found is Glacial Glare in a Crystal Beam build
That boon is amazing
Pairs incredibly with Arctic Blast
And killing freeze
But where else is a chill build good?

I’ve done Frost Flourish on Chiron before. It’s cool but it just feels so much weaker than Deadly Flourish

Because Hades spear is about slow, single hits of damage (spin attacks). So you’d only apply 1 chill to normal enemies. And you’d probably just kill them with the spin anyway so what’s the point of giving them one chill

The issue is that fast weapons are better off with Zeus
Which is also the problem with Dionysus, but I don’t really find hangover to be as interesting as chill (though I wish it was viable in some form other than the call just being decent on its own)

I always want Aphrodite for Zeus shield attack (it’s the best damage modifier, it works well with Zeus because Smoldering Air, plus weak is great for higher heats). It’s pretty good for Chaos shield attack, and obviously amazing for the special. I don’t use Zag shield but if I did I would use Aphro attack for sure

If you wanna play it really safe and you're on a ranged weapon dash across the gap in the middle to be on the opposite side as it, or watch for it preparing to dash and get far far away, itll dash more than once

Uh as far as beating meg specifically... she's got like 4 moves, and she picks her moves based on how close she is to you
If you can get her to keep charging at you, and you can consistently dodge her charges and do damage after, then you're golden
If she does other stuff you can stay back unless you think you can hit her more than she hits you

The thing about beo that the game won't tell you is that mirage shot doubles your damage with beo, because of a bug. That's a big part of the reason why it's so popular at higher levels of play

It just isn't my playstyle. I more prefer the butcher everything playstyle of ME Demeter Malphon or all and any Rails with Zeus boons
