another important tip: if you have athena boons already, and you lose your SD charge in a room, athena's death defiance boons give you an extra standard DD

No. You have to unlock 5 non-Zag aspects, fight Hades at least once, and then get the waking phrase from Master Achilles to unlock the hidden spear.
