I legitimately don’t understand what you’re saying about “no downside”. Eris gives 75% extra damage with “no downside”. Achilles gives 150% extra damage to your next four attacks (or CASTS) with “no downside”. Aspects aren’t supposed to have “downsides”. You seem to view the hidden aspects as “downsides” since they have different movesets, but that’s not a downside and in the case of Rama it’s actually an insane upside because the attack has a way bigger AOE and does way more damage.

The attack is incredibly slow, the spin attack is even slower and is incredibly hard to hard to get any health from since you will usually get hit while charging or using it. The special is the only attack that does anything but it’s still worse than Hestia empowered shot even with the best possible hammer for it. Overall, Guan Yu quite is bad even without the health reduction.

the way I see it with cursed slash, is that there's a pretty slim window where it's great to have.
if you're not hitting consistently, and you're getting hit a lot, cursed slash will destroy you faster than you're already getting destroyed
if you're hitting pretty well, and you wish you could be healthier when you reach a boss fight, then cursed slash is the hammer for you
if you're not getting hit by anything for whole biomes, you should pick a hammer that will let you hit really hard instead

charon is harder the early you fight him but at the same time the reward is amazing early
(as always depends on aspect how hard it is tho)

I dont rly like to fight him since I can easily manage his prices on a normal run, he’d be useful if ur hunting for the blood/diamond in Styx tho

If you’re running Zeus special frisbee probably shadow (30 damage per tick becoming 45 isn’t that spectacular)

I just had a super scuffed run like barley got through Styx cause I was trying to unlock the heat 16 statue and it just so happened that that run was the one I finished the main story so I didn’t actually have to fight hades

Well at 5 heat it is, but 20% more enemies is nothing to scoff at when you’re at higher heats, which is why I avoid it below 38ish heat
