Spear just isn't that great. It's attacks whole thing is range, and you can outspace it with alot of other weapons. It's special is just a worse Aegis special. It's charge up attack is far too unusable. The weapon is too reliant on good Hammer enchants and boons.

Yeah. It's just far too unreliable. At least with Shield or Fists you get consistent results. I use shield, I get to Hades. I use Fists, I beat the game, I use spear, I lose to Meg and then the Hydra.
The Hydra for God's sake.

From my experience, (which is very limited) keep behind him. He has alot of attacks that focus on his front, like Asterius. If there's more than one skull, try take them down. When he goes invisible, his footsteps are still visible, so you know whre he's going to appear. Aside from that, it's just learning his attacks and the timings ect. Try get something that does extra damage to shielded enemies for the ones he summons.

In his final form he's alot more aggressive. He likes to keep on top of you. Keep up the same sort of strategy but keep yourself around a pillar for his lava beams. The only thing you really have to dash away from is the 360 slash.

first you need dialogue from chaos about your shield (or about the aspects) then after that just keep talking to them until they give you the phrase

Since Hades was early access, I believe the logic goes something like this Tart & aspho were longer but as Elysium & Styx were added during early access, they shortened the biomes to keep the overall run time down.

well, unfortunately can confirm, hades on fightstick isnt good. movement is way to jerky, as it doesnt let the stick act as an analogue stick, only as dpad. so pretty much cant smoothly rotate directions, its blatant UP, or RIGHT, or UP/RIGHT, no middle ground between those inputs so you move in an 8way lock. unfortunate

I mean I’m just literally unable to imagine a game that is like Hades, but not fast paced or violent. That’s like asking for a game that’s like Minecraft, but without any mining and you can’t craft. Or a game that’s like Celeste but doesn’t require fast button inputs and doesn’t have any platforming. I’m not saying it doesn’t exist, just that I can’t even imagine what it could conceivably look like
