its dash strike doesnt even one shot a numbskulls and its animations take 10 whole years to come out and maim is borderline useless because of one how slow the animation is and two it makes enemies deal 50% more damage to you

Thinking on it, I guess it might be the best way to utilize Dire Misfortune. I've always said that Dire Misfortune would work best on high attack rates with low base damage. Stuff like Exagryph Main and Fists Main. But Chiron can net you a clean 8 strikes per volley, which is like 80-128 per volley, more with Impending Doom

Zeus' mechanics are designed around clearing up foes quickly
Small burst of flat damage buffs, and not % based buffs. So again, high attack rates receive the most benefit from it.
Combine Jolted and Privilege Status though and you get that 40% free extra damage from everything again
