not really, but i did have a similar problem with those mini boss witches in asphodel
i think it has to do with hitboxes, sometimes you're on the edge of a pillar and get hit thinking you won't
if anything fails, i just spam dash lmao
that boon from hermes that lets you dash 34094239823 times sure helps
