some character interactions and dialogue depend on your actions and what you do, best i can say about that is try to experiment with your runs and maybe something interesting will happen lol

Yeah, they're added to the pool. You can get all 8 into the pool, in fact, if you enter mid-shop in Tartarus with boons from three different gods and see one new god in the shop and another new god in the exit.

I’ve been starting and resetting a run where the first room has a fish point and then talking to Poseidon trying to get the conversation to trigger, but it isn’t working
Does the fish point need to be in a desperate chamber or something?

only got the Zeus special and no other Zeus boons for the rest of the run, with the game prioritising Dionysus boons and duos (chose the Dio cast in Tartarus)

the second skelly trophy is prob the last heat i'll bother doing tbh

for the 16 one, there are a couple of heat options you can trigger that won't truly effect your runs much if at all like the time limit set it to 7 minutes. add in 2 heat from making enemies resist the first 2 hits you dish out (might not work so well with couple weapon builds though)

this part is what is loved about hades
also, the game is good for those who aren't too great at the genre too as it has one of the best options for those new beginners to the genre witha special toggle mode you can enable and disable if you need
one thing I can say that no one can argue is that which game is more worth it, is entirely your opinion and what mike said, get both. then decide which truly is better. steam has a feature that allows you to get refund within I think an hour of gameplay which should allow you to refund a game if you truly just don't like your purchase

The way that Dire Misfortune works is that since Doom does not stack, every time you would apply another Doom stack, the original doom gets bonus damage. It synergizes well with weapons that can apply doom quickly, like the rail or fists, and impending doom, which in addition to greatly increasing the damage of doom, gives you a bigger window in which to “stack” dooms

try merciful end, with ME doom is extremely powerful, its most popular on fists, mainly aspect of gilgamesh since it has more dashes, get ares attack, athena special and athena dash, every time you dash attack the doom will get applied to the enemy and then immediately get triggered by the athena dash, if you get impending doom and pom that it will deal a ton of damage instantly
