Hi everyone, I cleared all the Fated List of Minor Prophecies. I have no more Prophecies to unlock, and I'm about at 80 runs by now. I compared my list to the one of the Wiki, just to make sure I didn't miss anything, and I did:
- Sea-God's Spite (Vanquish 'Extreme Measures' Theseus, then seek Poseidon)
- Customer Loyality (The son of the god of the dead shall someday purchase each of the various goods sometimes offered in the Well of Charon).
I already got Theseus win with Extreme Measures.
I'm not sure about Customer Loyality. Maybe I didn't buy all Charon has to offer? I'm not sure. But anyhow - shouldn't this one be showing with check-list like most of the Prophecies of this style?

Kill bull first. Every time Theseus attacks, he'll turn his back on you and start walking away, then you can take this chance to attack him.
His god power AOEs have a delay, just dont stay in the circles too long and you'll be fine.

The most hilarious way to deal with the initial god summon (the homing attack, not the later circles) is to bring Skelly. While he absorbs all the god attacks, you have plenty of time to take a huge chunk out of Theseus' health, or even outright kill him.

Also, if RNGsus is on your side get a good Aid boon and Hermes' Quick Favor, and activate Greater Call as soon as that last phase starts and he's not impervious. If you've levelled the Aid up enough it can absolutely destroy him.

The Chaos keepsake is good. I always find I equip it before a run starts, no Chaos gates appear in Tartarus, then I equip another keepsake and suddenly they're popping up all over the place.

I talked to him the first time and i got the line mentioning the fists.

I just wanna say, I spent the last few years chasing that BotW high, nothing that came out felt quite as good as the exquite balance of wonder and fear that gliding across the forests and fields, looking for mushrooms and adventure engendered.
I'm gonna spend the next few years chasing this Hades high. The writing, the outstanding sound design, the tight controls, the art that's just so readable at a glance, the replayability - it's a solid 99% game for me and I'm glad to have found it. Kudos, Supergiant.

(More than 100 runs before my first clear, I'm in the 140s now and have only cleared twice). Should I just give in and turn on God mode, or keep chipping away at it? I played a good 100 runs with God Mode on (the base game being too difficult for me, tbh, and I was pretty disheartened with Bastion), and now I do pretty well with it off (I started a fresh save, about 80 runs in at this point), having learned a lot about the patterns and timing of the enemies. I probably beat Hades himself half the normal runs now.

dialogue is not immediately reactive to your actions, that's not a bug. the dialogue works in that once the game sees you have completed x requirement for a specific piece of dialogue, it then has the chance to come up when you speak with someone

If you're having trouble on Hades fight id suggest powering up god mode (if you haven't already maxed it out).

If you use the bow and is offered Flurry Shot, take it. It makes it easy to stuff Hades' full of arrows whenever you are not dodging. Same with Adamant Rail and Rocket Launcher. Don't take any upgrades that decrease your dash (spear) or health (sword).
Generally the advice there is solid. But this one needs a lot of quantifiers.

can you beat Hades without talking to anyone, my brother wanted to try Hades and he has goober goblin gamer brain so he just runs straight to the weapon room, picks as the dark thirst follows then rinse and repeat.

Tbey arnt always available to talk to either. Sometimes u can only listen to them and you cant gift them until the next run
You should be fine. Even if u keep winning I think. The dialogue should still play out but yea now u wont probably listen to everyone tell u how ridiculous u are for trying sense u made an escape

does anybody agree that legendary boons are a little underwhelming on average?
we have things like bad news, greater recall, splitting bolt and blackout
but there are things so inconsequential like, unhealthy fixation, second wave, divine protection.
some that are too much of a hassle to get, like fully loaded and winter's harvest. (vicious cycle is alright tho)
